It is a lovely park, tucked away, towards the edge of town. Still has old playground toys--monkey bars, teeter-totter, a small merry-go-round, but recently, disc golf baskets are scattered throughout, for challenging close games, or putting. Clean, and restful, it is worth a visit despite the name!
Beautiful old park with lots of huge shade trees, picnic areas, playgrounds, community pool, tennis court, and skate park. Two public restrooms both were closed and locked though. We had a picnic lunch and walked around the place for a while enjoying the sunshine. There was no one else there even at midday. Would like to come back again for the relaxing beauty.
Absolutely gorgeous park, large and spacious and CLEAN, as well as wonderfully dog friendly, with spigots placed throughout the park so your dogs can have fresh, clean water between chasing toys and long walks along the path and a large playground area this park has a lot to offer. Plus lots of Pokemon GO stops!
Mature trees providing tons of shade, great parking, and all the best park toys from my childhood before we all became so worried about a kid getting a scuffed up knee.
The covered seating area on the site of the old swimming pool is great for group events Restrooms: The restrooms on the old bathhouse are right adjacent to the covered picnic area
Everything in Colfax is so quiet including this secluded park that sits in roughly the middle of town. Well maintained, good play equipment for the young at heart. I passed an elderly man deep in contemplation sitting alone at a wooden picnic table once on a dark spring afternoon. Something about it deeply touched me upon recollection years later and I regret not attempting to resonate with his conflict. The park is great 5 stars!
Nice park but very outdated playground equipment. They have disc-golf set up which is cool though.
Very nice, clean. Well manicured.
Not to far from our home. It is kept in condition. Would be a great place for a family reunion.
Some of the toys are rundown & the bathrooms onsite at the park are too. The bathrooms across the street are nice. Our family had a good time having dinner & playing volleyball together. Beautiful trees & layout.
