Schnauzer Paradise

DO NOT purchase a puppy from this breeder!!!!! My husband and I have regretted this decision to buy from Schnauzer Paradise from the day our sweet puppy went to the vet with us on our first of many trips. Linda fails to tell you that she does not and “has not taken any puppy in her entire experience” to the vet prior to purchase. Our puppy’s heart murmur is easily felt & we were told it would have been easily identified by any vet, just like the one we took her to. *Side note: Linda only gives them their first round of shots, which our vet said was way too early to do so when she did. It is because of Linda’s faulty decisions that I received a puppy with a heart condition “PDA” that our cardiologist deemed as “inherited” I have documentation of this, should a question arise. Yet, somehow, Linda claims that none of her dogs have ever had this problem that she knows about. After finding out Dixie had a stage 5 there are only 6 stages heart murmur at OUR first vet visit, Linda did refund payment for the puppy and seemingly “wanted” us to keep her in the loop on Dixie’s diagnosis along the way. Side note: Linda also offered for us to bring the puppy back to her, but, just like with a child, you can’t just give them back when there is a problem. And, since money is obviously a prize for Linda, who knows what she would have even done with Dixie. However, the small refund for payment she did give us back was only used to get us through the door for a cardiologist visit to find out her diagnosis. Upon finding out that my sweet puppy’s condition is fixable for an estimate of $7500 for surgery, my husband and I called Linda back. Rather than apologize for all we are going through which would have easily been caught at the vet with Linda prior to our purchase, if she would have done so, Linda’s words were “no, absolutely not” when we asked if she could help out with any monetary amount moving forward for treatment. Linda has since removed her prior comments about this on Facebook on others’ posts, so I decided to make a new one. Linda has no heart for puppies and, unfortunately, she gave us a sweet girl with a heart condition as well.

We got our Ozzy Boy from Linda in October 2021 and he came to us groomed and all his papers!! He is a sweet boy and all his vet checks they comment on how healthy he is never had any medical issues I would highly recommend schnauzer paradise to anyone wanting a healthy beautiful pup!!

Update: my dog was diagnosed with a liver shunt. Just be aware that she may be breeding dogs with this condition. I purchased my puppy early this year. Lia is the most lovable and sweet dog! She is my best friend!! She is always following me everywhere I go! Although I do wish her conditions would have been better. I’m glad I found my furever friend but I WILL NOT BE PURCHASING again from here.

I got my sweet Black and Silver girl Echo at 6 weeks old back in October 2016. As I am from NC this was a 6 hour drive 1 way so 12 hours total to get her. I did my research of Schnauzer Paradise and Mrs. Peck for 2 years BEFORE making my purchase. When I picked up my Echo she was clean and had already had her first grooming. She came with full registration papers and a stuffed animal with her litter mate's scent on it who got picked up right as we were leaving. Echo was in the home when I got her. My Vet gave echo a clean bill of health and almost 5 months later she is still healthy and happy. I will say this, there were several dogs there. They did not seem to be in deplorable conditions however. I cannot attest to the truth of any of the bad reviews. I can only attest to what I saw. Everyone needs to do their research. She does allow you to come and see the puppies prior to purchase. That wasn't an option for me due to the distance but she did send me pictures.

Great experience. Ive had my parti mini schnauzer 6 years now. Shes had zero health issues. And she has been my baby since day one. I refer everyone to her for a mini schnauzer. She is a very kind person.

This place is definitely a puppy mill. Our puppy 5-6 weeks old when we bought him. Our vet was furious that a puppy was sold this young and told us he should be taken back to bond with his mother and siblings. They are definitely selling puppies way too young. Our dog could never bond with other dogs. He also had some health issues. We ended up we had to pay an extra three to $400 to the vet for treatments. These people are in it for the money and that is it. I would definitely not recommend anyone buying a dog from this place.

I love schnauzers! They are my favorite breed with that being said, I own one Schnauzer already that I bought from a different breeder. She is a great dog!!! I do not know what made me decide to go with schnauzer paradise. I think I was ready for Schnauzer #2! Schnauzer Paradise looks amazing online, but when I got there I was very disappointed. They had so many dogs in the cages that were not groomed. I did not see food or water in the cages. Some of the dogs looked matted and dirty. They need to keep up with the schnauzers cleanliness. When we got inside there were multiple litters. The paperwork for our dog was not even ready. The dog was supposedly suppose to be 6 weeks but come to find out the vet claimed he was 4 1/2 weeks old. I was very angry. A puppy should not be taken from his mother that young. The puppy had some feces and fleas on him when we got him. This breeder did bathe him for us. Our vet had said that he was too young and GUESS WHAT he was not eating puppy food yet. He has just started eating wet food maybe 2 days ago. This place reminded me of a PUPPY MILL. I do not like to tear people down but seriously stop breeding your dogs hard. BE MORE affectionate and compassionate with your dogs. They are not money makers....THEY ARE FAMILY. Overall, the puppy is healthy, and I am thankful for that.

My husband and I have known Linda and Gary for a few year's now. We purchased seven miniature Schnauzers from them. Her home is always immaculate not one time when we have been to their home have we ever encountered dog messes or all the other lies being told in some of these posts. Our puppies are always groomed, papers are intact. Our pups have always healthy and have lived long lives are intelligent and loving. Our last two pups will be a year old at the end of May. They are a big hit on the Facebook page of Pet Supplies Plus, Vienna, WV. The employees love our Bentley and Savannah. I am so thankful for Schnauzer Paradise owned by Linda Peck, through her love of her miniature schnauzer's my husband and I have been able to share our lives and love of our Schnauzer Paradise adopted babies.
