Schneider Family Dentistry

Thanks to the recommendation of my good friend Kolette, I’ve been going to Schneider family dental for around five years now. I can’t say enough good about Dr. Schneider and his team. Dr. Schneider is incredibly knowledgeable and talented in his field! He’s also very friendly and interested in you as a person I also love Jennifer, the hygienist! I’ve spoken so highly of Dr. Schneider that my siblings and their families have started going to him too. I can’t recommend Schneider Family Dentistry enough!

I've been coming to see Dr. Katie for about 3 years and she explains everything that is going on, answers all my questions and assures that I am comfortable. ALL of the dental assistants are kind and keep things light hearted even when my teeth are being cleaned!

It’s been a few years since my husband and I had dental insurance and could get a cleaning. Dr Katie was so kind and fun to work with. My teeth feel clean for the first time in years and I don’t feel nervous about the dentist anymore. The staff is so kind. Also Beebo I’m sorry if I spelled his name wrong was super calming and kind plus added the benefit of a facial massage; someone should give him a raise. It was nice to laugh and have such comprehensive care.

I am have an extreme fear of dentistry. When I broke a tooth in the middle of the pandemic, I was terrified. I was able to get in to see Dr. Katie Staub a day later. She was very professional, gentle, understanding and comforting. Talking me through everything she was doing and paused to take a break whenever my nerves got the best of me. I went home with a same-day crown. I had to come back twice to get some old fillings redone and found her just as gentle. I highly recommend her to anyone who has even the slightest fear of dentistry.

Dr. Schneider is the best dentist I have had in my 77 years. He is professional, efficient, thorough ,and welcoming. He recently fit me in on short notice for a gum infection near an implant performed by an oral surgeon . After contacting the oral surgeon to discuss the background of the implant he exrayed the implant and discussed it thoroughly with me. After lancing a small abcess he further explained possible causes of the problem. I was concerned the implant may need to be removed but he explained to me that the implant was not endangered. Whether it be a filling, bonding, crown etc. He has always provided the absolute best care to my aging teeth. Look no further if you are searching for the gold standard in family dentistry. Dr. Adam Schneider sets the bar high and in my opinion exceeds the gold standard. I should also mention that he tried for years to save a nagging tooth for me but as luck would have it the tooth eventually became so bothersome that it had to come out. Responding to an evening call from me, he arranged to see me the next morning to extract the tooth. This was in February 2020 during the pandemic when everything was shuttered!! He was there for me when I needed him at a most inopportune time. This is the dentist you have been looking for. He also has a friendly competent staff supporting him

As a family we have always had a pleasant experience with Dr. Schneider and his staff for your great approach to each one of us as patients, characterized by the best action in the professional detail of his work, giving us the best cost-service ratio that one can find in the area.

My fear of dentists have kept me from going for far longer than I am willing to admit. This was the best experience I could have asked. The whole staff, the doctor, the nurses were genuinely caring. I would recommend this practice without hesitation.

With my mom having dementia at the age of 92 along with seriously impaired hearing and not capable of making decisions, I feel Dr. Schneider should have asked me if I agreed that he would full panoramic X-ray of her mouth. He did not ask me for my OK even though his assistant noted to me about her impaired cognitive ability at that visit; we therefore incurred an unnecessary, expensive X-Ray procedure. My mom was not having any tooth pain. Another reason I would not have wanted X-rays being done on my mom is that if she had cancer of any type, she definitely would not have wanted any chem/radiation done. I had been taking my mom to Dr. Schneider for the last few years as my mom was very frail and confused. I called to complain about the X- ray cost, but Dr. Schneider felt justified with the full X-ray because she was "due" for it. Also, a year or so ago, he did a biopsy of her mouth to check a white spot -- but Dr. Schneider called my mom to explain the results rather than me and he should have understood that she was not fully capable of understanding, nor hearing, his phone call. Common sense from the doctor would have dictated that he could have asked her if he should call me to report the biopsy results as well as common sense that it was an unnecessary expense to do a full panoramic X-ray on a 92 year old woman. Whether this was just greed or lack of common sense on his part, I still feel it was completely unnecessary to do the full X-ray and I don't feel we should have incurred the expensive bill.

Six months of insurance/billing headache. I checked that they "accepted" my insurance and still received a full bill from SFD. After I called, it turned out they never applied my insurance even though I filled out paperwork. It was my fault for asking them if they accepted my insurance when I made my first appointment and not using the vocab "in-network". They pushed X-rays when I told them I had them done through the orthodontist recently because "my insurance would pay for it". Either the dentist didn't know or lied. Very annoyed that I went in for a simple cleaning no cavities and healthy bill of health and it costs me $308.

Fantastic service. Easy to change appointments. They work with you on billing. And the health of my teeth has never been better. I really appreciate what the doctors and their staff have done for me. I would add more stars if I could.
