Wow. Been shopping at this store since I moved to Wildwood 21 years ago! Today 6/11, will be the last time ever enter this store. I bought fruit from the produce pre cut watermelon/ and other melons last evening 6/10 for a game night with my daughter’s family - including my 4 grandkids. As we started to eat the fruit, 2 of the 3 containers did not taste right - tickled our tongues was almost like a spoiled or fermented taste. Took it back to Schnucks at about 11 AM this morning 6/11, and took it to the customer service counter. The customer service agent was only concerned about if I had my receipt! No,”I am so sorry that happened how can I help you?” - just, do you have your receipt? Really? I said no as we took it straight to my daughter’s house and it was lost in the shuffle. All I wanted was my cash back! Long story short - without the receipt she would not give me cash back - would only credit to my debit card and would not give me any documentation that the transaction was confirmed - even after giving them our Schnucks rewards number that shows everything we bought that night!!. For the “friendliest” store in town - you might want to put a “friendly” person at your customer service counter. No more Schnucks Wildwood for me - 21 years of shopping there, I am done!
This place will always be my favorite grocery store. Love the atmosphere and product selection here. This market carries a wide variety of unconventional products that you wouldn't normally find in other stores
Nice store but, as with other reviews, the woman at the service counter for self checkout was extremely rude and forceful during checkout. The general public deserves some respect, we are not moronic! I will not patronize this store again.
Very friendly staff. Just not nearly as many sales as they used to have which makes it tough as prices are continuing to increase everywhere, & the sales were what was keeping people coming back to Schnucks.
Prices are much better here. And they carry Boarshead. That's a huge plus
My local grocery store. Been shopping here since I was a kid. Everyone is nice and good selection of food. Decent prices relative to the other local grocery store chain. Make sure you sign up for their points program.
I love this location. The meat department makes the best cheddar brats I’ve ever had. The bakery is great! They always have something new. The deli is great for a quick dinner. The prices are better than Dierbergs. This is our go to grocery store.
Deli: The deli meat tastes like cleaning fluid. Third time it's happened in so many months. Not going back to this location.
This is one of the worst Schnucks. Layout is horrible, bad selection of items, and a horrible checkout area. We moved out this way a year ago and this Schnucks doesn't compare to others. We now prefer other stores and we try our hardest to stay away from this store even though its the closest to us. Other friends/ neighbors say the same thing. Needs work.
Really nice store! My only complaint is the lady at the service counter was very rude and unfriendly.
