Called Schoenberg Memorial Chapel after my mom passed away after a 4 month long /sudden illness. Josh made a difficult and stressful situation so much easier, and walked us through everything from picking out the plot/casket/planning the service to helping with the life insurance. He also helped to lead a beautiful service for my momand got a very nice Rabbi. Thank You
In the most difficult time of our lives, Josh was such a bright light for our family. He walked us through the process with compassion and empathy. We expected to pay much more for his services. He provided detailed checklists to help us navigate the necessary paperwork surrounding our beloved dad’s death. We were able to submit the obituary through him and save money. He also promptly notified Social Security of my father’s death which made the process of obtaining survivor benefits for my mom simple and fast. It felt like he was holding our hand every step of the way. Our family couldn’t be more grateful.

I have been delayed a year in writing this review, but better late than never. The staff at Schoenberg's went above and beyond to ensure we were able to honor our mother's life with dignity and grace in the middle of a snowstorm, no less and provided a space to hold shiva while our home was unavailable while undergoing renovations. Calls were returned immediately and every detail was attended to with care and compassion. Highly recommended.
This is the third generation of Schoenberg's to serve the Delaware Jewish community with memorial services. Needless to say, my family, and the entire Jewish community, have trusted Schoenberg's to show the utmost dignity and respect for our loved ones; and provide burial services in the proper Jewish tradition. That trust has never been broken.
