Scholl's Bicycle Centers, Pittsburgh's oldest and largest bike store, has been serving cyclists in the tri-state area for more than 45 years. Since its founding in West View, Pennsylvania, Scholl's has enjoyed a reputation for expertise and knowledge that is far beyond a typical bike shop. For years, cyclists have passed over other bike shops in order to buy their bikes and have them built the Scholl's way. Bring your bike in for a tune up today! *Tune Up includes: brake & derailleur adjustment, wheel truing, bearing tightening, lubrication, all bolts gone over and inspected for tightness, and aired tires. Our knowledgeable and experienced mechanic staff is always happy to help solve any of your bicycle issues. No appointment is required, just bring your bike to one of our two locations, let us know what you want done and we will give you an estimate on both turnaround time and price. If you do not see your desired service listed do not worry, we accommodate any repair desired just ask! Our return time will vary seasonally however it rarely will extend past a one week time period. We look forward to seeing you soon.

Just got my bike back, it needed a lot of work, but I knew Scholl’s had it covered! They did it in under a week, and with a service fee of only 40$. Been going here for years and they have never disappointed! They also have a big selection of disc golf equipment. Occasionally they even have unicycles! The mechanics are very skilled at what they do, and have owned this shop for over 40 years. I’m so sad to see that they’re closing next year, this is the place that me and my family rely on for everything bike related. Be sure to check it out before they close, this is the best shop in Pittsburgh!
I truly love Scholl’s Bicycle Center! As an avid disc golfer I thoroughly enjoy purchasing disc golf discs and disc golf accessories and look here first. I also shop here on a less frequent basis for bicycle related items. The owners are very kind and knowledgeable. It is one of my coping mechanisms now to stop in for a disc or four lol and to talk with them. Definitely highly recommend if you live in the area or are visiting.

Fantastic and quick service at the right price! Highly recommend this truly local bike shop. Support local not franchises/chains! I installed a new fork on my bike but was missing a star nut. Another large shop which I'll not name quoted $5 for the part & $5 for the labor. Called Scholl's and they quoted $6 for the part with installation! I dropped by and was out the door with it installed in just 5 minutes.
They have a huge selection of discs from innova, and a smaller but still good selection of discraft, disc mania, and gateway. It’s really nice to hold a disc before you buy it and their prices are totally reasonable. Friendly staff too, I’ll definitely go back for more.
Knowledgeable friendly staff Get your bike done right the first time !!! Get your bike back in days not WEEKS !!Depending on the time of year….when you are done riding for the season schedule a overhaul in the winter months Dec,Jan,February,March etc …that way you are ready in the Spring !!!instead of waiting to get serviced….in April when it gets Warm again !!!!!
Very reasonable and knowledgeable staff! They did not pressure me into anything I didn't want. I chose a mountain bike that ended up not working out for me after a year and they gave me fair value for a trade in. They also helped me outfit my upgrade and gave me some discounts because I bought my bike there. They even did a free 30 day tuneup! I highly recommend Scholl's for sales and service.
I have been taking my bike to Scholl's for the last 3 years now, What a GREAT BIKE SHOP! Quality work, Great prices and my bike is always ready in a day or two!
They cheaply repaired 2 of my bikes, which the price alone is worth the 5 star. But on top of that great service, I would definitely come here again
There's a few bad reviews on here that just look ridiculous. I have no experience at all with bikes and decided to stop in here to look for my first buy. I believe it was the owner I spoke to. He took time to show me a few bikes and was very friendly and helpful. Sounds like their prices for service are great and it sure as hell looks like they know what they're doing here. I was expecting the prices on the bikes to be marked up and they really didn't seem to be which was surprising for a smaller store. Ignore the few bad reviews on here and check this place out.
