The School of HSS houses 8 academic departments, the Center on Immigration, and the core curriculum at Cabrini University.
The School of Humanities and Social Sciences is an inclusive community that seeks to foster a passion for life-long learning through the development of critical thinking and inquiry, civic engagement through action, and spiritual exploration of the human condition in all of its diverse complexity.
The school achieves its mission by embracing the following traditions from the liberal arts education of the humanities and social sciences: self-expression through curiosity and creativity; exploration of diverse traditions, cultures and languages; the search for meaning; interfaith dialogue; and the application of ethical research and practical problem solving to understand the relationship between the individual and society, through disciplinary and interdisciplinary study.
