I've been a student here for about 2 years now, I've had lessons with Nick, Amber, Nick, and Olivia and I had pleasant experiences with all of them. They were even able to easily accommodate my interest in multiple instruments and playing styles.
This School of Rock is great! My son takes private lessons and has had two different instructors. He has really liked and connected with both of them. Also, the school is really great about rescheduling lessons if we have an emergency and can't make the lesson. They are very communicative about anything going on at the school also. Highly recommend.
My daughter enjoys her voice lessons very much with Amber !!! She's getting more confident singing in front of an audience.
I just celebrated my 1st anniversary at the School of Rock. This past year has been one of true enjoyment. My instructor Andy Letke has taken me on a journey of education, skill improvement and above all FUN! I look forward to continuing to improve my acoustic guitar playing abilities, as I continue to learn from my committed instructor. Andy Letke, my piano instructor, is both a talented musician and skillful instructor who is eager to know what I want to play, and he collaborates with me to create lessons that meet my instructional needs in terms of theory and technique while I learn songs that interest me. He welcomes my suggestions for songs to learn or offers his own when he believes they fit what he wants to teach. He makes his instruction understandable, flexible, friendly and fun, and he has my back when I'm struggling to play something until we make a breakthrough together. I couldn't ask for better for myself as an adult learner or for my son, whose lessons Andy crafts with a keen understanding of a child student's needs.
I like that it is a self paced program and that we learn what we want to learn after we learn the basics of how to read music and how to play it. I have been taking lessons for almost 6 years with them and even the directors of the locations teach showing commitment to the students above the business. All thanks to the supportive environment of the School of Rock, I have started writing my own music and hope to release it to audiences across the world in order to make a change along with donating to music education around the Earth.
Great experience for your child. Not only do they learn to play an instrument, but they learn how to play it as part of a band and in real venues! I also love the fact that my daughter learns a lot about music education. A well rounded, unique music experience!
Love that it’s not just for kids. So happy to have the adult jam in my life as an outlet for fun, building relationships with a diverse group of people, and having the opportunity to grow as a musician this late in the game. It’s important to remember to do things for yourself too even when the pull of work and kids makes it hard...the staff, the facility and the students make it easy and fun!! Best thing this mama ever did!
Flexible hours, a patient staff and really great personalities. The owner and staff work together to help client form goals and advance in a comfortable, yet timely pace. I am an adult learner and they actually tailored the lessons in a mature and easy to follow curriculum.
