School of the Holy Child is an all-girl, Catholic, independent, college-preparatory school for grades five through twelve. Established in 1904, the School is committed to the educational philosophy of Cornelia Connelly, founder of the Society of the Holy Child Jesus, to empower and “educate young women of conscience and action.” Dedicated and gifted faculty members mentor and engage students, encouraging each girl to realize her own potential in a community where girls are the leaders in the classroom, on the athletic fields and on stage. Foreign language, arts, athletics and community service are offered in every grade while signature programs in Global Awareness, Italian Cultural Studies and Engineering and Design bolster the rigorous and comprehensive academic curriculum.
