This school does not value or listen to parent opinion/intuition. The assistant principal, who is in charge of the special needs/structured programs, insisted on knowing what was best for our child, and stuck him in 1st grade when he didn't even pass kindergarten. When speaking to her about our concerns for our child, she barely let us get a word in edgewise. They took half the school year to get him an IEP, so he suffered & fell further behind that whole time. If you have a child with special needs or delays of any kind, you'll have to put up a fight to advocate for your child.
I went to this school from Kinder garden thru 4th grade it was the best school I ever went to and the teachers are nice I still remember my kindergarden teacher ms. Santana
