Dr. Schroeder treated my knee with an injection which his work very effectively for the last 8 to 10 years. He is very thorough and goes over his results and why. The only issue I had was that the tablets they give you to complete your health history move very slowly. It took over 30 minutes to complete the tablets questionnaire.

All went well. Dr. and staff listened to what I said. Xrays were ordered and completed on site. Dr explained the Xrays and diagnosis and then administered the necessary pain relief shots. Then a plan was ordered fo some physical therapy.

My wife and I have been going to Barrington Orthopedics for many years. I cannot attest to the competence of all the physicians who practice there but our encounters with Doctors Schroeder and Belcher have been exemplary. Quite frankly, I trust them and feel safe in their care.They both offer various options for procedures, surgeries, and the like. Their follow ups are stellar. They speak with language you can understand, unlike many physicians. I'm 70 years old and my wife is 67. We, like many others in that age bracket, are encountering the "replacement surgery" era and their services are so welcomed and appreciated. We have recommended them to many of our friends. I leave their offices reassured because I know that whatever they do will work out. I'm somewhat surprised at the negative comments on this page. I have never encountered anything even remotely like that from Barrington Orthopedics. If you are encountering any joint/bone pain, do yourself a favor and go see them. They're simply the best.
