Overall they're good people working within guidelines set by the state and federal government. Which can be difficult but they are doing the best they can with what the jobs or career's for some of them. It sometimes depends on who you deal with and what you are there for. In my experience the only times I had any issues it was usually my fault. I forgot to turn in paperwork on time or something. They did lose my paperwork once or twice, they're only human and they deal with a lot of people and paperwork daily. As long as you get a stamped copy of anything you turn in even if they lose it you don't get penalized as long as you have your copy proving it was turned in.
Unfortunately due to a death I had to deal with Adult Services a gentleman named Mark help me he was wonderful
It helpful but not some social worker that need go grocery won't take or treat like carp
Terrible. They don't return phone calls and never are at their desk to answer calls. No one knows their head from their butt in this place.
I'm usually in and out, not much of a wait time.
Paperwork and time but if your family's in need, very helpful, if you need help. Be truthful with them.
Got seen a lot quicker than chemung county social services.
Office of aging is great..very helpful to my husband and my self
Workforce was extremely helpful to build a resume!
They help people out but they also can be jerks.
