Highly recommend coming here for running shoes if you're serious about running, fitness and getting the best fit and service. Anthony helped me find a pair of running shoes saucony guide 15 . He sized me to an 8.5W and I typically get a regular 9 but this fit was great I had no idea a shoe could feel that comfortable. I love that they let you run up and down the sidewalk to really test them out. They have a great selection and are getting more in demand shoes like On and they have Brooks, and Hokas too. I will definitely be back for my next pair when it's time.

The staff in this store are the best store people I have met. They are so knowledgeable and helpful. You will NOT get this level of service at the "big-name" stores -- ONLY at SCHWAB'S 2ND WIND! I started running several months ago and came here for my first pair of running shoes. They showed me several types of shoes that fit me based on my feet, stance, and running level. The shoes are comfortable, and I've enjoyed running in them. Update: after several years of consistent running, this is the only place I’ve bought my running shoes from. And I couldn’t be happier.

Its just an enjoyable experience all around. Joe listened to my concerns and suggested a very comfortable pair of Hoka Clifton 8's. Clearly the clientele is into running.. very fit and knowledgeable customers willing to lend their 2 cents . This store has been a Setauket staple for decades and you'll understand why. Their prices are NOT outrageous. The prices are comparable to online.. why not get the extra service , try the shoes out in the parking lot, and give your money to a local business instead of a box store? Now its time for me to get back on the road. Thanks Joe!

In need of new running shoes, I visited Schwab's 2nd Wind. The staff here is really courteous and knowledgeable. Not knowing a lot about running shoes, I was helped by Joe. He had me try on several pairs of shoes from different brands and explained each shoe's style and each of their pros/cons. Based on my preferences, he set me up with a great pair of Hoka running shoes. He even let me test them out in the parking lot. If you're in need of new running shoes, look no further. I'm really pleased with my experience here and will definitely be back in the future.

Great customer service! I was helped by an employee and he explained to me in depth the differences among each vibrum five fingers in order to help me with my purchase. Fast forward a couple months later, I needed a receipt for a warranty claim, instead of just printing out the missing recipe they did the exchange right in store with no hassle! Great service from a private owned business!

been here a few times and the prices have always been jacked up. I went in recently and Mr. Schwab's service was terrible. Since he's the owner, and the service is what you pay for I will not be coming back. If you are looking for shoes, do yourself a favor and find yourself a different store.

Bedt selection of running shoes. Very helpful and professional staff. They were out of stock but ordered ny sneakers. Called ascsoon as the order came in. They also stock running wear.

The sales lady was very very very nice and she was very helpful to my sibling and I. She was by far the nicest person to be working there. She was incredibly helpful and gave very good tips.
