The 2017 Scotch Plains Farmers' Marketplace season officially begins on Saturday, May 13th and runs through November (Rain or Shine). Our popular open-air market happens to be celebrating its 25th Year, and promises to be one of the best again in the area. Here, you will find only the "Best of the Best Vendors" with an engaging variety of fresh grown local produce, delicious handmade baked goods, and gourmet-style food products.
Our market takes place in downtown Scotch Plains @ 430 Park Avenue. It is adjacent to the Municipal Building - right in the Municipal Parking lot there.

HISTORY
The Marketplace was originally established in 1992 as a community service to help support local farmers, and enable them to develop new markets for their fresh grown produce. In 1994, the Scotch Plains Business + Professional Association (SPBPA) took over the management reign as a means to attract and increase business activity in the Scotch Plains Towne Centre. Over the years, it has evolved and expanded into a diverse Marketplace.
The Scotch Plains Farmers' Marketplace is managed by the Scotch Plains Business+Professional Association. SPBPA is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to assist and enhance the business community in the Township of Scotch Plains through its networking activities and community involvement.
