Very nice, large wooded pull through sites. Staff very nice and friendly at the small store. Lots of sugary treats for kids to buy! Restrooms: Very clean, large
Really large RV park. Well laid out, easy pull through sites. The laundry building is well equipped and reasonably priced for a RV laundry. Big green spaces for whatever. Kids activities, playgrounds, family friendly. Staff seem friendly and knowledgeable
What a wonderful night's stay. We stopped on our way to Peggy's Cove and had a restful night at the back of the campsite by the brook. Only tiny complaint is the mens shower. I didn't bring quarters with me to operate the shower. But the women's was free so my wife was happy. Thank you, we will be back and 5 stars all the way!
I first came to this campground Sept 2021. I returned again in October since I loved it so much. I have been at the campground since opening weekend of 2022 and this is now my home away from home. The staff are really friendly. They take the time to know your name and say hi. For those with kids it has lots of kids activities including tractor rides and chocolate bar bingo. The usually have live bands on Saturday evenings and Adult activities when there is no live bands. Especially love the Trivia and the Adult Bingo. When we first came to the Campground in Sept 2021 the wifi was iffy at times but they have made significant improvements to it and now I get wifi everywhere in the park.
Not impressed. 1 Noise: at 12:30 at night, we were kept awake by kids playing/screaming in playground, constant sound of basketball being dribbled, freight train passing through and barking dogs 2 Lack of maintenance: half of laundry machines out of order, dirty washrooms / showers, general feeling of disrepair 3 Crowding: very large park, but sites are small and crowded 4 Expensive: we've been travellin on the road for over 2 weeks, stayed at many places, and this is the most expensive site, and most ill-kept. Do not recommend.
The worst campground in two month trip. Noisy. Music playing at volumes heard many sites away. Kids and adults yelling after 10pm. Odor of cannabis wafting from neighboring sites. Staff nice. But wouldn’t recommend for a relaxing place to camp.
Staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Lots of little play areas for kids and great activities. The sites are very close but all our neighbors were lovely.
Nice little park. We stayed in the tent area and the lots were a great size. They had events like a live band, ring toss and a trivia night that kept people entertained. Would definitely go back.
Staff was really friendly. A young man from their maintenance crew went out of his way to help me out of a huge amateur camping trailer mistake. He saved the day big time.
I stayed over 20 nights in this campground, both in the tent and in its only fancy cabin. Clean and decent coin-operated washrooms. Staffs are friendly and helpful. It's close to the city Truro and it has its own store. It offers choices of weekly or monthly stays with discounts.
