Dr. Afran is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist specializing in Pediatric Ophthalmology, Eye Motility Disorders and the Management of Amblyopia. He also treats adults with diplopia, refractive errors, and eye muscle disorders. Dr. Afran has over twenty years experience in this field and actively trains resident physicians at both the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx and the New York Medical College in Valhalla, N.Y. Dr. Afran maintains a child friendly atmosphere in his office and in his personal approach to families and patients. He has a wealth of experience in working with young children and also with special needs children and their families.
