"Scott Funeral Home has a long history of serving the Jeffersonville, Indiana and surrounding communities. William M. Scott and Lois B. Scott founded Combs & Scott Funeral Home in 1930, which was located at 211 E. Maple Street in Jeffersonville, and is currently known as the Bliss house. In 1937, the funeral home was relocated due to flooding to the corner of Graham and Court Avenue where the family served the community until 1954. At this time, the Scott’s decided to build a new funeral home, which is still serving the local community today. Legacy Funeral Center is located at 921 Main Street in Jeffersonville and was the main location until 2001."

I couldn't say more nice things about Scott's funeral home. They are absolutely amazing and they made the process of sending our mother home as easy as possible. They were absolutely amazing and patient with us, they helped us in every way they could to help us get assistance with our mothers service as she didn't have a policy and we don't come from money. They absolutely made sure we had everything we wanted down to the last detail. Would recommend them all day thanks Joe you guys have been great

I can not sing the praises of Scott Funeral Home and all the associates that work there, specifically the owner Billy, enough! When death comes unexpectedly, you barely function or have any idea what you are doing...with anything. Billy not only was immediately comforting, helpful and thoughtful, he stayed with me the entire process, start to finish. There is no way I would have been able to honor my father in the best way possible without Scott Funeral Home's assistance. I am truly thankful our paths crossed at such a difficult time. Funerals are for the living to honor the dead, and they went above and beyond for my family!

My family has used the services of this funeral home for over 40 years.  My husband recently passed away and again, we turned to Scott.  The gentleman that assisted myself and my brother John, who was my support, was so kind, understanding, patient, and caring. Joe Bille, thank you for all your help during this time when i definitely was not in a clear-thinking frame of mind.  You are definitely an asset to this awesome family group of people.  This continues the legacy that the Scott family created.  Thank you!

Joe Bille was the funeral director for my father's funeral in July of 2023. I began working with Joe when my father was dying, to plan his funeral. Joe made the planning process as easy as it could be. After my father's death, Joe handled everything promptly and professionally, guiding me through a process that was completely new to me. Scotts Funeral Home did an excellent job at executing exactly what my father wanted for his funeral, and their director, Joe, was there for me every step of the way. I would recommend Scotts to any resident of Southern Indiana and especially their director, Joe Billie. Thank you, Joe, for making a difficult time less difficult for me.

I literally cannot sing the praises of Scott and our funeral director, Joe Bille, high enough.  After finding my deceased brother, the coroner had us call a place he recommended to come retrieve him, and there were problems with that place from the very start.  I called and had my brother transferred to Scott. Having my brother cremated, we planned his service out several weeks to accommodate all family travel.  During the planning, my husband and I said several times to each other just how, "glad we were to have had brother moved," because of how repeatedly pleased we were with our planning experience over those several weeks.  Our service was very unique because brother was very unique, but absolutely everything we discussed with Joe was met with great enthusiasm.  While I'm very good at planning events of any kind, and this wasn't my first funeral rodeo, Joe would mention things I hadn't thought about or had forgotten about in my grief.  I genuinely couldn't be anymore thankful.  Death being a part of the life experience, we will absolutely, positively use them in the future.  From the bottom of my heart, thank you Joe and Scott for  being so wonderful in our time of need.

This was the first time using Scott Funeral Home and we can't say enough, we would  recommend them to anyone. The staff was very kind and helpful. They went above and beyond to make a difficult time a little easier.  My family and I thank them for all they did for us.

Billy and the Scott Funeral staff went above and beyond to make sure that we had an excellent experience during the lost of our great nephew.  The entire staff was amazing! We are so grateful and appreciative to their team.
