It's really kind of simple....My name is Shelley and I am Scott Valley Sweets' owner and baker. First, I love God and I love my family. Next, I love to bake and I love dessert. I love to make it, smell it, eat it and watch other people do the same. I love how dessert makes people happy. A beautifully presented and delicious treat can really touch someone's heart. I've experienced this for years--people just feel special when they're given something special (someday I'll have to tell you about our family tradition of "Random Acts of Baking" where we surprise people with fresh baked goods). Anyway, for years now I have been waiting and trusting and preparing for the day that I could combine my above mentioned "loves" and open shop. My dream finally came true and I opened Scott Valley Sweets. I operate out of a Siskiyou County approved and fully licensed home kitchen and am authorized to sell directly to the public or through retail businesses such as coffee shops, stores and restaurants. I have a unique style that I haven't quite been able to name yet but whatever it is, it looks great, tastes fantastic and makes most people super happy. Everything I make is mixed in small batches with premium ingredients. Each day that I bake I think of the people that will ultimately enjoy my product and that makes me happy.
