Yesterday I had to take my friend to the hospital. We started it off over at John C Lincoln Honor Health hospital off Dunlap and third Street and that was a disaster see my review for details. When we arrived at Scottsdale North, we were greeted by Catherine. She was the check in as well as the triage nurse. She is such a delightful gal. I congratulate you for having someone so wonderful be the first person a patient sees when they enter the emergency room. The wait for a room in the ER was relatively short. Upon arriving at ER room the nurse Shane was amazing. He had a great bedside manner and was very jovial. Really put the patient at ease.. The amount of time for blood tests and necessary scans was amazingly quick, and the time spent in the ER really puts the patient at ease. Thank you, thank you so much for caring for my friend.. I would highly highly recommend Scottsdale Shea North. It's a great Honor Health hospital.
I feel like hospitals reviews on Google maps will never properly encapsulate the quality of a hospital. I will say this location is helpful and thorough. The staff is kind and hard working. Maybe instead of hospital admins getting a bonus the nurses and support staff should get a bonus. Just a thought.
Our son was born at this hospital and the staff could not have been better throughout the whole process! Every staff member was so kind, attentive, and explained all the steps or information clearly. I felt like we were in such great hands. It felt so nice to know our newborn was well monitored and taken care of. I would absolutely recommend having your baby at Shea!!
I would have given it five stars but the construction in the ER was a disaster. Backstory, we had a smallish emergency this evening and while the staff were amazing and very attentive, the construction around the ER was chaos. I felt so bad for staff because it was definitely making some patients very aggrevated. I know you need to upgrade facilities and what not but when it affects the day-to-day tasks of your workers, I think a wealthy hospital like this could think of some more effective solutions. Anyway, again thank you to wonderful staff who helped us out and I hope the administrators can find a solution to allow them to provide the patient care they want to provide.
I want to express my sincerest gratitude to all staff including admissions, security, nurses and doctors who provided me with exceptional service and care at the emergency department at Honorhealth Shea boulevard. All were so accommodating and professional and willing to help. I cannot thank you enough for your patience and compassion you have shown me. You should all be very proud. Thank you. Grant Oates
The best day of my life happen here when I gave birth to my son. I was induced at 8am and had the greatest nurses during the day but when the night came I know the nurse forgot about me because my saline was running out and my blood started to come out of my iv into the saline bag. That’s how you know I was hooked up to an empty bag for a while. I had to call for them to check up on me instead of them doing it themselves. I felt like she was annoyed that I asked for help but come on now… aside from her ruining the whole experience I feel like the morning nurses made me feel comfortable and had solutions to my concerns about giving birth for the first time.. I really wish I can remember that sweet nurses name. After I had my baby and I got transferred rooms, I had even better nurses. They were so helpful in everything! Always came to check up on me. Will definitely want to have my next baby here again.
Just want to say I went to the hospital in February for delivery my balance was about 3600 after all the insurance adjustments. I paid $1000 the same day in the hospital and maid $200 a month every month except August. I missed my August payment I had balance of about 1700 and they sent me to collections. When I called them they said my payments were inconsistent I guess I didn’t make my payments on the same day every month then they decided to tell me every payment I have made since 2019 which doesn’t make sense since I didn’t have any balance as of February 2023. I wasn’t going to write the review about this since I really don’t do reviews but I will now. Let’s not mention how they took my baby’s blood for jaundice for another baby not even checking the name when they did it. We had to stay extra day because they waited till the next day to do it again, and my babies level was high so we had stay until the end of the day until her levels were back to normal. I understand people make mistakes but it’s ridiculous you are messing with someone’s life. I wish someone would look into my account and see that I have always made all of my payments on time and I that I have always paid my balances in full. I also did not appreciate the customer service department being rude and inconsiderate to a new mother with enough stress already. Maybe a call or a letter could have been sent before throwing someone to collections. Honor Health should be more considerate of patients and what they are going through and treat patients with some dignity and “Honor.”
They took great care of my dad even though he can be a very difficult patient. Very professional staff. They kept him the correct amount of time to do all of the tests needed. The tests that they did were appropriate and relevant. My only complaints are that the ER was slow to give me information on my dad, and it was very difficult to get status updates over the phone. However, my dad was stable and considering that the ER room was full, I understand the wait for information.
Had our baby here and it was an amazing experience. The staff and nurses were wonderful. Shout-out to Gail, Debbie, and Stephanie in delivery and Heidi, Sharon, Jane, and Laura in postpartum! You all made the journey that much more enjoyable and were so kind and helpful. Much love and appreciation for these ladies
The nurses were compassionate and on top of everything. The anesthesiologist listened and addressed my concerns leaving no issues whatsoever. I felt so well cared for from start to finish. This must be one of the strongest medical teams at a hospital. They were amazing. Thank you!
