Nice maintained service area which has 24 hours operational Arby's. You might see the board of Tim Horton while coming but that is under renovation as of April 2023. They have quite a few informational pamphlets on the area in and around Scottsville East bound area. Washrooms are well maintained and the cleaning stuff is on the premises to cater to hygiene of the place.
There are various other facilities available such as 24 Hour Diesel, ATM, Convenience Store, Deli, Fast Food, Parking, Lighted Area, Paved Lot, Pet Area, Public Fax / Copier, RV Gasoline, RV Parking, Safe Haven / Hazmat. The restrooms available are very clean . No need to worry as there is plenty of parking. If hungry and thirsty, there is a cafe here to enjoy a cup of coffee after a long drive.
Only good thing about this travel plaza was the lady cleaning the ladies bathroom. Arby's was "temporary out" of almost EVERYTHING. PLUS we ordered 2 classic meals medium and small and the cost was OVER $29.00. And the Curly fries were COLD.... guess the employees were to busy talking among themselves to pay attention to paying customers.....Highway Robbery for sure
On I-90 from Buffalo NY east and west bound new management of Apple green is doing a good job. The new buildings are having drive thru helping motorists. The lobbies are smaller, this may push travelers to leave early to leave room for others who are kept coming. Prices are high. Starbucks was short of staff at east bound plaza and everyone was waiting 5-10 minutes to be attended for order taker.
Beyond disappointing! Not only was Tim Hortons closed but half the menu items aren’t available at Arby’s. Then I go to order a single classic Roast Beef. Are you kidding me? $6 for meat and a bun. I can spend that at a grocery store and get 8 sandwiches with better quality meat. Fast food really isn’t good or fast anymore!
Every New York state travel plaza on 90 is a joke, they're all under construction. The food service areas are completely dismantled. Can't even get a good cup of coffee while traveling. They claim they're getting remodeled and then they'll have new vendors. But to do that across the entire Thruway at once is a really poorly executed transition.
The rest stop was fine but don’t stop at the Arby’s. A regular LARGE fry at any other Arby’s establishment I’ve been has been $4, but a SMALL fry here was $4. The meat on the roast beef sandwhiches arent as thin or quality as they usually would be too. The staff is rude. The prices are absurd, for a family of 5 it was practically 100$ for small sandwhiches and small fries
i think it's because their making new rest areas you say goodbye to the old rest area and welcome a new rest area like applegreen. they want to make sure that the hand dryers is on the sink not far from the sink. just be flexable and there's always alternative ways to get a rest area like clifton springs travel plaza that's 1 example or indian castle travel plaza i know the i 90 is a joke but it's up to the NYS thruway systems who's doing not us were not the ones doing it.
Only one fast ? food place - overpriced, very dated, very slow service. Glad I got there before the bus arrived. Lady I was travelling with ordered a chicken "meal" and by the time all the up-charges were included it totalled $23CDN!! NO THANKS ARBYS!
Basic rest stop. Very clean and tidy. Some basic items are available for purchase. Food and drinks and snacks. Plenty of parking spots and friendly staff
