Quaint friendly service - Stopped in on our motorcycle ride to the Hoover Dam and By-Pass Bridge. We were promptly seated and our waitress explained everything. The craft root-beer was awesome! Our food arrived quickly, was fresh and enjoyed by all. The wrap was tasty. I like my garlic fries with more garlic but not a deal breaker.
Honestly, I went to this restaurant for the art. Beautiful paintings and a nice atmosphere. Went once before and they were out of an item so came back to try it. The food was nice and had a very home cooked flavor. However, the prices are a little steep. They even charge for the bottle water, which i understand cause it's fancy bottled water, but it would be nice to know ahead of time that there would be a charge. however, we were given a free sorbet desert, which was nice. wish the menu had more variety but it's a very unique little place to eat.
Besides the fact that we could not understand a word the waiter was saying, they were out of virtually everything on their menu. We waited for 15 minutes before getting water, without even being asked what we actually wanted to drink. After our drink order, 20 mins into our stay, we were told they were out of bread, so there would be nothing until our dinner came. We were then told they were out of sea bass, salmon, and certain chicken cuts. We ordered and 20 minutes later were brought our food. The kids spaghetti was extremely spicy, and they were out of spaghetti noodles as well, so penne pasta was used. It was way too spicy for my daughter to eat. My chicken was dry, as well as my dad's. The presentation of the food was good, but the food was awful. We have waited 15 mins for our check, and there has not been a single employee to our table the whole meal. We will never be returning!
Mehh. For the money, I expected more. Great service, nice atmosphere, but the food was ok. 4 Steaks were barely warm and meat quality was like a lower grade supermarket cut. It's hard to mess up a ribeye, but they did. The New Yorks were a bit better They served us something called Bearnaise sauce, but that was god awful. I've had Bearnaise sauce many times, and that was unrecognizable. I hear the chicken and fish are good. We'll wait for awhile before going back and see how they do.
Poor service, poor food quality. Marco was difficult to understand. The Caesars Salad Entree with chicken was dry and over cooked. The salmon and sea bass nightly special were out and they ran out of bread. The Scratch stands for scratch that from the menu. The children's spaghetti was Penna pasta and the sauce was too spicy for grandmother , mother and granddaughter. First and last visit.
wife and I went for a Saturday breakfast----- OUCH Wife asked for buttered toast. Toast arrived with her order--- no butter. Was told butter will be brought to the table. I asked why the toast was not buttered before-- answer was-- THE CHEF said I DO NOT BUTTER TOAST. My breakfast was the super special Eggs Benedict ----- Half raw egg served in a tomato and very little anything else. The potatoes were could. The Bloody Mary I ordered was HORSERADISH sauce with TICH of vodka. ------ With limited good places in Boulder City I expected a lot more but got a soup kitchen rejected breakfast-----
So their menu sounds very pretentious about their coffee, but Jesus, it's deserved. Starbucks is my jam, but the sugar free soy latte they made blew Starbucks out of the water. It was amaze-balls.
The dinner I ate was risotto and sea bass. Every single bite i ate was unbelievable! The food I was served was a level above.... Im going there right now for a cappuccino.
I can't say enough about this place! The food is first class had the rib-eye one night then came back and had the sea bass and our server Jaime was the best!
Great fresh food. The menu changes a lot. We have always had great service and food.
