I give them 2 stars because the transmission its self is great. My experience with my core refund to almost a month. I had to reach out to the company to inform them my core was sitting at there facility for 10 days. They told me they had new people in shipping and they would get to inspecting it some time next week. That's poor customer service. Then I had to reach out again 10 days later for an update to find out that the core had damages and they stopped the inspection process. I sent them pictures of the damages up front to avoid this situation. I have asked to be contacted by a manager and 20 days later still no contact. Then finally I just got updated that they are not going to uphold the quote they told me on the damaged core that they took an additional $50. So you hold my money up for an extra 3 weeks and then just pour salt on the wound by taking an additional $50 instead of trying to right your wrong. I think after spending over $8000 with your company I would receive better customer service than this. I had 10 more transmissions lined up from our company but we will be taking our business else where.
Scott and his staff are top notch! Very professional shop and great communication. They took care of my truck as if it were there own. All questions were answered promptly and completely. Thanks for the awesome transmission guys!!
Ordered a rebuild on one of my employee’s Allison transmission and got it back with issues. The issue was able to be fixed at our shop with the permission from Scott. As busy as Scott is, he reached out and took car of us. They do great work and their communication has been lacking in the passed but I know it will improve. Will do business with them again.
I have worked with SDP for almost 10 years and they have always been great to deal with. I've had several Duramax trucks over the years and a custom C20 Duramax swap that SDP has helped source custom parts for, as well as tons of insightful knowledge. They have always gone above and beyond when ordering parts especially throughout the very recent supply chain shortages. They've always stood behind their products and I would recommend to anyone looking for a top notch Duramax/Allison specialist company.
Brandon was a super big help was on a time crunch to get my cp3 conversion for my LML was 1500 miles away called his boss and made it ship out today friday or monday. Cant wait to get the kit in the truck I have heard nothing but the best reviews about these guys!
Scott and the team at SDP are top notch, they are very knowledgeable and helpful. I love the way my LBZ drives after having the transmission built!
HORRIBLE customer service!!!!!!!!! I gave them one star because giving zero wasn’t an option! My husband and myself have called multiple times, left messages, emails and have not received any calls back! My husbands turbo was suppose to be done months ago! Every time he has been able to talk to Scott he was told it’s done and waiting to be powder coated and it won’t be long! Still nothing and that was 2 months ago! This has not been done in a timely manner nor professional at all!!!!!! I understand people are behind or having trouble finding help but we have been very patient and understanding for the first couple of months but now completely lying about timing and not returning phone calls is NOT ok! My husband has even emailed that we needed the turbo back ASAP even if it was not powder coated so he can at least race and still nothing! This is beyond ridiculous!
SDP is a great Diesel Performance shop. I blew my transmission and gave Scott owner a call and he set me up with a great built transmission. All the work was done on time and the shipping was on schedule. He’s very good with communication. He replied to every one of my emails and always returned my calls. If you ever need any work done to your diesel or even if you need to order performance parts, Scremin Diesel Performance is the way to go!
The company is impossible to reach over phone, i've called multiple times, my husband has sent emails, and left voicemails as well, no response yet.
I called these guys to get my transmission looked at Allison 1000 and to go through my truck 2005 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 LT and look for anything they could find wrong. Transmission had some issues with slipping and getting locked up in 3rd gear and not shifting up or down forcing me to manually shift it until it returns to normal. I made the decision to just get it rebuilt, so my family and I would never have to worry about anything. Everything got fixed that were minor issues and the transmission is amazing. These guys are very busy people, very hard to get ahold of, but if you have the patience and aren't worried about calling them several times, I highly recommend their work, no one can beat their quality for the price. I will be returning to them in the future for more things, and my friends will know about their work as well. Well worth the wait. Thank you SDP for doing an amazing job on my truck and transmission.
