We had a good stay here. The bed was comfy. The room was clean and we had a beautiful view. The rooms are definitely outdated but this is a great hotel for the price. It is also in a great area with many things to do and places to eat near by!Rooms: 3/5
Our first time staying there for a long weekend . The rooms were clean . Parking was good . The view was great. The restaurants breakfast was good. Our only issue was the bad marijuana smell on the elevator and the whole fourth floor. We reported it and we’re told it’s legal now so they couldn’t do anything about it. We were not the only people complaining other people asked to change rooms . Plus we had a non smoking room .
This is a nice hotel that is being renovated since Best Western recently acquired it. The check-in desk is located in the Best Western, a separate building in the same parking lot. This was a little weird/confusing. The rooms were clean and we could actually see a small sliver of Ocean from the balcony. There's a small outdoor pool as well.
Stay here every year and never disappointed except for the occasional skunk smellMarijuana in the hallways. But where don't you smell it these days besides your own home. No matter what, though, we will never not stay. Every one is to friendly to us not to stay. Rooms: Lots of space in rooms. Nearby activities: Beach is literally 500 feet across the street. Food & drinks: Dead Freedy's is half block away. Dunkin Doughnuts and Fractured Prune is 2 blocks away. A mini market is a block away.
When I walked through the door , I was pleasantly surprised. The room was clean. Seriously , very clean. Bathroom as well. And I'm very finicky. The sliding glass door was a little dirty but not a big deal. I used my eyeglass cleaner -WINDEX- to clean it. Balcony was nice size with two chairs. Swept clean as well.Bed was comfy. Surprisingly !!! Fridge worked well . Shower was great. Good water pressure and remained hot. However , one night there was a constant drip coming from the room above. Called the front desk and someone came to my door within 2 minutes. They went upstairs only to find out that someone took a long shower without the curtain inside the tub. Small inconvenience to me but they did apologize. Now , the downside. Some people just love slamming doors. Every night , every morning. One morning was 5:30 and this young lady about18 or so was screaming and shouting and didn't respect anyone. Shameful !!! The young lady that maintained my room was friendly by the name of Andrea. Cudos to you young lady. And Jordan at the front desk was very nice and courteous. They even upgraded me to a Bayside Room. So I can only say that my experience with the hotel was above what I expected. It could use a little updating here and there. Better lighting in the hallways and the rooms as well. So I would give this hotel a rating of 4 out of 5 .
All good except the $25 charge for earlier check in before 4 o'clock. Room was ready and it was around 3 o'clock we arrived. Long line for 4 o'clock took 35 minutes to check in. Safety: Very safe Food & drinks: Good breakfast good location
I only wish that I could rate this hotel at 6 stars! Beautiful sunsets facing the bay are spectacular. It's worth twice the room rate I paid, just don't tell management!Rooms: 5/5
Room was standard and clean and staff was very helpful and efficient!! Would recommend to someone visiting OC for a short trip!! Nearby activities: Escape rooms, putt putt, many ranges of restaurants and shops and convenient stores within walking distance!!
Been having our golf vacation with 28 players for 20 years. Noticed improvements every year. Great breakfast. Friendly staff.
Clean rooms, 2 clean pools, accessible accommodating staff, and reasonable price. Located a short distance from boardwalk, food and excursionsRooms: 5/5
