SeaComm is a member owned financial cooperative based in Massena with branches in Potsdam, Malone, Canton, Ogdensburg and Plattsburgh.
Membership is open to anyone who lives, works, worships, or attends school in St. Lawrence, Franklin, Clinton, Essex Counties, New York and Grand Isle, Chittenden and Franklin Counties, Vermont.
The following guidelines and expectations must be followed by all users on all SeaComm online communities:
• Keep our community a SeaComm community. This means feel free to browse, comment and post anything you wish - just please keep it related to SeaComm.
• Be respectful of your fellow community members. This means NO cursing and NO offensive language or profanity; for example, don’t say anything you don't want your child to repeat.
• Any videos or photos you post in the SeaComm community cannot include other people's copyrighted material.
• Since most online communities are created for teenagers and adults, SeaComm asks that any users under the age of thirteen enjoy our community with adult supervision.
• SeaComm recommends that all users refer to the social media platform’s Terms of Use Agreement for additional guidelines. For example, if you are visiting the SeaComm Facebook fan page, please make sure you also follow Facebook’s rules.
• SeaComm will make every effort to monitor the content and behavior of our community and ensure it meets the standards of SeaComm; however, we are unable to monitor every posting or conversation.
• SeaComm adheres to and requires that all employees, service providers and others endorsing or otherwise acting on behalf of SeaComm on a blog or other public forum all adhere to Federal Trade
Commission (FTC) rules and guidelines governing endorsements and testimonials. If you wish to learn more, you may access the most recent revisions to the FTC’s Endorsement and Testimonial Guides at http://www.ftc.gov/os/2009/10/091005revisedendorsementguides.pdf.
• SeaComm reserves the right to delete, remove or edit any comments and/or block users/followers that may violate any of the guidelines and expectations outlined above for the sake of all users.
• If you suspect a fellow community member is not following any of the above guidelines, please let us know via a Facebook message.
