Mission

We aspire to eliminate hunger, and commit our energies to this, as a non-profit organization, we serve in a regional capacity, through partnerships with others, to identify and direct available resources, providing access to adequate food for all.

We will accomplish this by:

Working in a regional capacity for the solicitation, collection and distribution of food.
Coordinating agencies in northwest Ohio to fight the problem of hunger through a distribution network.
Networking with outreach service providers to assist with client needs.

The staff here is doing a great job to serve the community by providing food and other help to people in need. I recommend that all should volunteer and help a great food bank.
A little tight for a 53 ft. But doable. Slide tandems all the way forward. Till u get to dock. landing gear all the way up.hang on left sidewalks till u pass docks.
I would only give 4 stars because the docks are SO deep. They weren’t built for semis. However, the gentleman here gave me great instructions and I was easily able to get in without incident. Everyone I’ve encountered is super nice and helpful! •••BONUS••• I was able to Park overnight, and unload is super quick.
I had a rejected load of veggies from Kroger for no good reason. The gentleman who answered the phone was very helpful and when I arrived there to donate the load , everyone were so helpful and nice. These people are awesome!!! Also, I noticed there were soldiers helping at the food bank which was really nice to see. Go donate or volunteer to help others in need. G-D bless you guys for this awesome work you do.
Freight rate will be great because no driver will ever come back. Receiver thinks he doesn’t even have to start unloading for a hour after your appointment time. Bring your lunch!
I was actually at the veterans food bank across the street. I go there once a month and I always come out of there with a ton of groceries and household supplies. The people are there are very friendly and respectful. Things move very rapidly and orderly during the process and I'm always pleasantly surprised with what I come home with.
There's a little bit of parking available. Tight to back in, make sure your landing gear is all the way up... long wheelbase tractors with low ground clearance are going to have issues.... nice folks though, they're usually ready to unload around 9-10 or so....
They help the community here alot. They need drastic help with the parking lot due to potholes in the lot. Pretty bad too. I'm always driving super slow try not tear up my tires and front end suspension....
Fantastic pantry for VETERANS! Vets can request a "food voucher" at the Veterans Service Commission 2595 Arlington Ave in Toledo. Always polite, always provide us with WAY more food than we can carry! Offer the absolute best of foods, oftentimes organic where relevant, fresh fruits and veggies, juices, some canned goods, meat, baked goods, etc.
SeaGate is fantastic for veterans and for the community at large. They serve the entire community. Fantastic and friendly volunteers and employees. What a wonderful asset to Toledo and Lucas County.
