We got a new dish washer just before the holiday. Lenny was really great helping me understand my install needs and got me out the door quickly. I like that I got the dishwasher new in a box on the same day. Seems rare these days. If you miss the service of people who know the product then if recommend going in. Sears doesn't look like much these days but they are still kinda awesome.
Always a good stop for when you need to get new tires, a new lawnmower and a tux for your cousin's wedding all in one.
Closing?! I remember running around in here as a wee lad. Well, everything must go! Fixtures and all!
This is a typical Sears store and will provide the expected experience. The employees are always friendly and knowledgeable about the products. The checkouts can take a long time. The auto center is top notch; I have had a lot of maintenance and repair work done by them and I am always very satisfied with the work.
Matt from the tool section doesn't seem to know much about company or brand standards. Not a good fit for working as a manager. The rest of the trip was nice..hit a really good sale and got a bunch of clothes for the kiddos. Spent 300.00 on tools...so to be treated so poorly means we will bring our money elsewhere next time.
Sorry to see this store close after losing my home store in Brunswick. 4 days left, not much merchandise remaining. Bought more Craftsman tools, loved 'em for 60 years.
Do not purchase a ring or any jewelry from this store. We bought a $1,300dollar ring from them a couple months back. After having it for 6months we went to buy another one in a more reputable jewelry store and for the heck of it got ours appraised. It wasn't worth any more than $50!! We called Sears and told them this and went round and round and round with them. We asked for the manager to call us as we were getting know where with the employee in jewelry who sold us the ring. We were ripped off!! And had the appraisal papers to prove it. They didn't want to hear it and the manager never called us back. Never again will we shop there for anything!!
I went looking for a new vacuum as our puppy ate the cord off our last one. I was a little disappointed in the high prices of what I saw but was so pleased when the person working in that department recommended I might come back later for Labor Day sales. That was very helpful.
Store showing it’s age. Decent selection on things though. They are very under staffed. Wondered around for several minutes before seeing someone who worked there. Upon checkout they convinced me to sign up for their loyalty program which does give you some cash back, but they make it sound way better than what it is. If your purchase qualifies for $120 cash back points they divide it by 12 months so you get $10 off a purchase each month. The points don’t compound though. So you use them each month or they are gone. Their incentive to get you back in the store each month. The emails they send after signing up are out of control. Sometimes as many as three per day and normally at least one per day. Also, they have a package pick-up system for large items or online orders. There is a sign that says if you wait longer than 5 minuets to get your item you get a $5 coupon. So you scan your receipt and the clock starts and you can see the time on a monitor with your name. Well the workers have figured out how to cheat the system. They have to scan your receipt again when they give you your item and that is what stops the clock. Well, they come out with about 4 minuets on the clock without your item and scan your receipt to stop the clock and then disappear in back for several more minutes while they retrieve your item. Pretty clever on their part. They probably never have a wait time over 5 minuets according to their system because of the way they bypass it. All in all Sears isn’t my first choice for much of anything, but if they are having sales on something I need I’ll shop there after comparing prices elsewhere.
Great service. Very nice guys at the automotive center and eye care. If you’re an Uber driver and you’re getting enough rides you can get 50% off of oil changes here. They do seem to be pretty backed up during the holiday season so plan to wait a bit.
