I dont recommend coming here to get your tires installed due to the fact that they damaged my rim. My aluminum alloy 2015 Prius rims came back with fresh scartches and dents. I only wished i took a before picture to prove as im sure they would deny it withought proof. Some of the scratches was dirt i guess but you could see some dirty fingers prints still on the tire. My mistake as i thought sears auto could have a level cleanliness and competence to put my tires on right. The place seemed understaffed, at least for technicians .They even said no alignment could be possible until they had trained a New person. They even had a looking to hire sign displayed next to the waiting line. Customer service was just fair as i guess Greg is under alot of pressure to help as quick as possible. so i can appreciate that. I ordered 2 tires from amazon to be installed by sears auto and after setting up an appointment turns out one of the tires were missing. my only complaint here is that they check for accuracy as apparently it was the a manager named bay who received and signed for it. Another worker named Merlyn tried his best to search and help me out but i still had to contact amazon which im so glad was willing to send another tire out.
Made an appointment and was in and out fast maybe within 25 mins full synthetic oil change will be coming here every time for my oil change from now on, Awesome Service !!!!!!
Came in for an 11am appointment and at 12:15 the car hadn't left the spot I'd parked it in. After inquiring as to the status of my oil change I hear the usual excuses. They're overbooked, super busy etc. Somehow these "professionals" don't know there's a giant window into the shop that you can see them standing around through. So nine minutes later at 12:24 I get a call for an upsell. Nine minutes. You can't even get a car from the parking lot up on a lift and inspected in nine minutes. This place is a parody of itself. I come here because it's close to home and the Uber driver discount but I think I'm done with all that. It'll be interesting to see what happens to the shop once Sears is relegated to the dustbin of history. Edit: Oil change done at 12:46.
Came with an appointment. Took over 30 mins to talk to the guy at the counter to only find out they do not have the tires that I ordered and paid for on SearsAuto website even though they confirmed they had them in stock and gave me an appointment to install them. This was the 2nd time I had come for tires and the exact same thing happened. They don't have an inventory of their tires, and they are understaffed. Don't waste your time going here. You will most likely get a better deal at your local tire shop anyway like I did. That one star is for the polite African American gentleman who works at the front. Otherwise they would get ZERO stars. P.S. NOBODY CONTACTED ME.
They were fast, friendly and affordable. Had tires shipped directly from Amazon to Sears made appointment on Amazon. Super easy process.
The lady reception was good in handling customers but rest are not worth. Time to change or nobody will give the car for service and might need to close. The serivce center needs overhauling before its too late.
They keep you on wait for too long; even for 2 hrs just for oil change. It does not matter if you have appointment or not. I spent almost 2 and half hours even after having an appointment for oil change.
Came in today just before 10 am. Counter guy was talking to elderly gentleman who was there for an oil change. The guy at counter never acknowledged me and kept rambling on and on with profanities and about the cars he's owned and blah blah blah. Poster on register at front of line was half hanging down, shop just looked bad. Needs are training, shop cleaning and re merch ASAP.
DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO RICHMOND SEARS I had an appointment for 10 AM for 2 tires and alignment, Sears closes at 5 PM,I came back at 5:30 pm they had one tire replaced and I noticed the techs laughing, joking while me and my wife stood by watching, Feeling trapped.THEY HAVE A INSIDE JOKE ABOUT IT BEING THE LAST CAR,EVERY TEC KEPT ON ASKING THE TEC WORKING ON MY VEHICLE, LAST VEHICLE AND WOULD START LAUGHING, MEANING I WAS A DIFFICULT CUSTOMER.Once the second tire was replaced I told the tec that I was going to take my VEHICLE and get the alignment done somewhere else, the tec told me good and this was after all the joking and Laughing.so I left with 2 new tires NO ALIGNMENT, I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO SEARS IN RICHMOND AT HILLTOP MALL VERY VERY SLOW SERVICE AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.To anyone reading this post and plan on having work done on your VEHICLE do not call about any Questions or concerns or you will be the last vehicle of the day also
They fixed my brakes on Wednesday from sweaking only to have them fail to brake or stop on Friday. Very disappointing and dangerous.
