Ask for Carly: ***** FIVE stars - She deserves a raise and a promotion! I called ahead to find a vacuum which was highly recommended in Consumer Reports. She checked to see that they had it in stock before I drove to the store - called me back right away to say they did. She really knows her stuff, and was friendly and kind, encouraging me to try before buying, explained a lot about the product and showed me how all the bells and whistled worked. I bought extra bags, and she went back into the back to get some more on my request. Clean store, bright and sunny with lots of inventory. YAY that Sears still has a brick and mortar store we can visit.
I so badly want to review Sears. I was mostly baffled that there was a Sears showroom in my town. I moved here from Chicago. You may note there is a very tall building there with a similar name. So I go in. My son asked "why are we here Dad?" I said, "i don't know? " We left and had a lovely meal at the nearby Japanese restaurant. So. I guess Sears is still in business. Good for them. How? Beats me.
Staff promised a delivery by the 20th to try and sell us there appliance lied to our face then we get a call won’t be in til the 27th. We were in a time sensitive project for our business so this really screwed us. And we made sure that their staff knew that we needed this ASAP. Don’t go here unless you don’t mind being lied to just so they can make money.
Over the last 2 months, spent $2500 at this store. The last purchase, an OTR microwave; I did p/u at store after waiting 10 days, w/ the wrong arrival date given by store, thus having to cx the electrician/installer and resched, had dings in the stainless steel door. Yes, things happen in manufacturing. Not the issue. The issue is the lack of customer service AFTER the return. Yes, they accepted the return. I was told I would have to wait ANOTHER 10 days to p/u at store. Or, 'I' could p/u at distribution center myself, the next day. After the money I've spent, and the hassle w/ THEIR inaccurate arrival date for p/u and resched. installer thank God, I didn't have to waste a vaca day from work the very LEAST they could've done was offer to p/u the MW from distrib. center, for the customer convenience. If you're not looking for cust. care, or accurate info re: product detail, despite your pointed questions, this is the place for YOU!
I bought a washer and dryer and paid for an install. Sub par installation, they left the water supply lines disconnected, fissured my gas line and crushed my new dryer vent causing carbon monoxide poisoning, natural gas toxicity, and a flood of water. I have the evidence and the owner has never contacted me. Shop elsewhere if you value your life and your home.
Clean store nice staff only problem is you have to order and it could take up to 2 weeks for delivery
The employee didn't acknowledge us, spent most of the time talking on the phone, and didn't know squat about different products.
There is nothing utterly special or compelling about this place.
