So much more customer friendly than the larger stores. Within a day, I had a minor concern addressed and fixed. I actually talked to them as opposed to being shuffled off to Illinois when I called customer service. Family owned and operated. Support our local businesses!
This store offers great customer service along with a great delivery crew. I ordered a small top bottom refrigerator Kenmore 60512. The delivery crew was amazing! They were required to remove the doors from the refrigerator in order to make it fit through my doorway. The crew was extremely well trained and knew exactly what to do! The whole process went smooth and was a breeze. I would highly recommend this store to anybody that needs any type home appliance!
I was so surprised to find a Sears in this little town. They don't have a huge selection, but they definitely had what I needed. Got a little Kenmore fridge, washer and dryer, and some tools to give to my dad for Christmas.
Wonderful service! I told the employees exactly what I was looking for, dimensions, color, fingerprint resistant, ect. They knew exactly what I was looking for. Check out was super easy and my new fridge will be in within a week!
Great experience. We got the help we needed and a great price on appliances for our new home. Customer service was excellent. We look forward to a long relationship with the owner and staff at our Hometown Sears.
Run away as fast as you can!! Might be friendly in store, however do not believe anything you are told about delivery dates OR free delivery! That fridge, dishwasher and stove you bought for delivery within 2 weeks keeps moving out, now months out! A hassle to get refunded. Would be lower than 1 star if possible.
Nice people, always helpful. Offered us a drink while we waited for our credit to be checked. This is the third time buying from there & we will definitely be back!
Excellent inventory, prices, staff and customer service. Too bad those things are negated by greedy corporate policies that hinders the #1 Sears hometown store in the nation from making sales to lifelong Nacogdoches residents. I attempted to buy a refrigerator today, only to be told by the salesman that corporate would not let them sell 99% of their appliance inventory w/o a Sears credit card. They only had 2 old refrigerators that they could sell me w/o a Sears credit card. Losing sales to make a tiny bit of money on a credit card, that would have been paid off immediately upon opening. No wonder Sears is a dying company. Genuinely disappointed in this store and their greedy corporate policies. I will NEVER be doing business at any Sears what's left of them ever again, and I will not recommend any of my friends or family to them. Very, very disappointed.
I purchased a new refrigerator from this store in October of 2012. Six months later is was not working. After 3 failed service attempts for one service visit we had to wait TWO WEEKS, hours on the phone and 17 days with the fridge not working I finally convinced Sears to replace the unit. The people in the Nacogdoches store acted like they couldn't care less and were no help whatsoever. In fact, the gentleman at Customer Solutions at the main Sears call center said they were giving him lots of "push back' when he was trying to resolve the issue. I will never set foot in this store again and hope other will heed my warning.
paid cash for washer and dryer bought the cord and hoses paid for delivery, and installation and extended warranty Admittedly, I did forget the vent hose. The deliry guy told my daughter to go buy one and he would put it on for her and he would wait for her to get back and when she got back he was gone. the store said they couldn't come back till Friday bc his guy has another job. my complaint is that the worker tells my daughter something then disappears. leaving her with a job unfinished that was paid for.
