I am not very knowledgeable about purchasing appliances, but the owner really helped me understand what I was purchasing and what came with it. She was so nice and understanding when I asked a lot of dumb questions. She made me feel welcomed and helped me with what I wanted and needed. This is such a wonderful store and I will definitely go back to them when I need more appliances.
In a rating scale of 5 stars I would give this Sears Hometown Store 6 stars! Customer Service is at your service as soon as you enter the store and has extensive knowledge of their products as well as financing options and more. We recently discovered that Sears Hometown Store price matches competitor pricing thus find no reason to shop elsewhere for appliances, tools, anything lawn and garden to vacuums, mattresses and more... Jessica the owner is hands on daily and couldn't have been more helpful. Be sure to shop here folks.
We have purchased a couple of appliances from our local Sears store, they've been very helpful & friendly. We always go there first...and end up finding what we want. Also, the delivery guys were awesome bringing in our new refrigerator & taking out our old behemoth.
I purchased a refrigerator from the Payson store to buy local and a my experience with them was good. When the delivery guys delivered the refrigerator, they broke the freezer handle while installing it. They said they would order me a new one and would call me. They never called me and I had to go into the store to follow up. Just a month after the purchase, the bottom handle broke, I believe it broke because it was forced on the door during install and I told the store manager this. The manager told me I needed to contact warranty to get it replaced. So much for shopping local and getting that good customer service they say you will get.
Great customer service at the store front. I ordered a small stand up freezer for my garage. It arrived at the store location on time and was delivered on time...with a dent in the middle of the front door. I called and the staff informed me that the owner would take 10% off the cost of the freezer. I don't want two freezers. I wanted a new door. The best they offered was I could buy a new freezer at 10% off. I'm very disappointed. I don't want a freezer with a dent in the front door. I think they should replace my freezer and take back the one with the dent in it. I've bought Kenmore products for over 30 years. I'm telling everyone I know about this.
I purchased a wall oven and range hood, was given my delivery date for a week later. Well 2 1/2 weeks later still have no oven or hood. When I went into the store to inquire about it was told it wouldn't be delivered to me for another week. When I asked for a refund was told I had to discuss this with the owner. I had to wait 5 days for her to be back into the store. When I went in and explained that I wanted a full refund she was extremely rude and kicked me out of the store and told me I would only get my money back after I took her to court. I called the corporate office every week for over a month in order to get my money back. I finally did. I would NOT purchase anything from this store. I have found other stores that will price match.. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HERE.
Great experience! New owner was beyond helpful, we also did the lease program, so quick and easy. We love our new washer and dryer! Highly recommend this location of sears!
The new owner, Jessica, of the Sears Homestore in Payson is a very hard-working and dedicated woman. She will work with you until you are satisfied with your purchase. When she was short-staffed with her delivery drivers, she helped make the deliveries so you would get your purchase.
My experience with the Sears store in Payson has been horrible. Poor service, poor ethics, no integrity. The store manager is by far one of the dumbest people I have ever met. The owner has no pride and understanding of proper business ethics. U can expect one thing from them and that is getting fleeced.
I had an awesome experience at this store, the staff was very helpful. I was in search of a new washer and dryer. The employee that assisted me was very knowledgeable about the products. I was extremely happy with my purchase.
