I honestly thought that we had a good experience when buying our washer and dryer until this week. Do not lease from them! Our dryer went out during the last winter storm and we decided to get a new set. we found the set we wanted for 1700.00 and decided on the lease to own option after making payments of 400 a month for 5 months we found out that we were not in fact leasing to own but just leasing them with the option of purchasing them after 5 months. after paying $2000 it will still cost us $1000 to purchase them. The salesman did not explain the lease agreement in this way at all otherwise we never would have agreed to it in the first place. We are really disappointed in the way the lease to own option was misrepresented to us. Would not recommend them to anyone in the future.
Pretty good experience. Unfortunately, the store is being closed permanently. Have to find appliances elsewhere.
Limited selection, no ladders of any kind, no specialty mechanics tools, ,Limited answers about products they do have, , boxes of items not actually on the shelves, I had to step over and walk around other isles to get to what I wanted to look at, the owner/operator didn't seem very motivated or helpful. Maybe it was a bad day but it wasn't impressive.
Our washer went out and do to Covid, our local appliance stores were either closed or no to low inventory. We called Sears Hometown and they just got a shipment! To our astonishment, the friendly and courageous staff welcomed us and will deliver our new set the next day! They are truly what a small business is!
We recently purchased a washer and dryer from this store. We experienced top notch customer service from the store owner, Phil. In fact, all the employees were very courteous. We appreciated Phil’s seemingly very honest opinions of various appliances. I know we will be back to shop with him again!
Very helpful and warranty is BEST around. Has a local owner with accountability and pride in his products and services gives the feel of the "mom & pop shop" yet has what Sears has in variety and selection, name brands and reasonable pricing is key in providing it's customers quality merchsndise and services that that it's competition can't even compete with. They have earned my customer loyalty.
They were very nice and if you find something you want they sell it to you right off the showroom floor, but I have to be honest Western Auto has the best prices.
Ended up replacing my lawnmower after two weeks of back and forth on the phone everyday. Low level service but outcome was good
Very helpful in helping us pick out a new dryer. Friendly service and they deliver and will haul off my old one.
Fully stocked display floor and they can get what you want in just days.
