DON’T purchase delivery items here! They contract deliveries out! The delivery guys were horrible, unprofessional and the worst I’ve experienced in my life. They scratched the hardwood floors, bent the front door threshold, left an 18” gouge in our new concrete stoop, put dents in the side of the new fridge which we returned because the ice auger didn’t work from day one bounced the corner of the old fridge on the concrete landing which of course popped the door off and the door proceeded to slide down the concrete stairs. The old fridge was going down the front steps into the garage for donating or selling. Instead of removing the hardware that holds the fridge doors on, they pried the top one up trying to put the door back on. I heard a cracking noise so I just said “STOP!” We had our kitchen remodeled so I asked my contractor to make sure there wouldn’t be a problem getting the old fridge out or the new one in. His reply was, “Everything should be ok as long as they take the doors off the fridge.” Guess what? The doors were NOT removed on the new fridge OR the old. It’s EASIER to just feed one door of a side by side out the front door, open the other door and shimmy the fridge, bouncing it off of everything, than to remove the doors. Sure wish they could come up with a new feature that didn’t make it so “difficult “ for those poor delivery guys to remove the doors!! I was instructed to sign the certificate of completion before the fridge was removed from the truck and the job was complete because we live up on a hill with many steps. I contacted the store owner and a local Division Vice President of Operations at Sears but NO ONE at Sears has a strong moral compass and will make this right! GOOD LUCK
I had a wonderful experience. Husband and I had stopped to check it out the day before. We ended up buying a washer and dryer and was helped by Bradley. He went out of his way to help us. System went down on Monday night when we were there. He came in on Tues, his day off to make sure the transaction finally went through. So we finished everything over the phone. Thanks Bradley for all your help! Update: I now change my mind on company, we were supposed to pick up washer and dryer in store, when called day of pick up, they had no listing for us. They said we were to have received an email. Days went by, no email. We went into store to can el order and when they checked paperwork from company, they must be psychic or something they had delivered to store date listed as they day before we even went to the store!!
Very helpful staff. If you're requiring some assistance tracking down an item for a craftsman product lawn mower in my case look no further. They will assist with searching this store's inventory and if it's unavailable at this location the workers will help you place an order on one of the computers in the store with no charge. The item will show up at your door days later. Outstanding overall experience.
Extremely helpful with my need for treadmill replacement, which was under warranty. Helped with selection, order and delivery--better service than I received trying to go through main Sears stores, which never answered their phones or messages. My needs were met in short time and I am extremely satisfied, highly recommend!!
I was looking to update some of my kitchen and home appliances and Tonya was a God sent. She was very helpful, clearly knew her stuff, and had wonderful taste. I'm a manager in retail and it was refreshing to see such genuine customer service. Thank you Tonya. I'm excited about my remodel.
Stopped in to warrenty some of my broken craftsman hand tools. Both employees were very friendly. Andrew took care of me. Whatever tools they didnt have in stock he was able to order and have them drop shipped to my house. His great customer service will have me coming back to the store when I need new appliances.
Compressor went out on 3yr old fridge. Circuit board went out after 1.5yrs, had almost the exact same experience with sears service as described below Contacted sears, waited 4 weeks for a service tech. Sears cancelled the appt 3 days before they were supposed to be here and pushed the appt out 4 more weeks. Could not wait that long, had to have a local repair done because we could not get sears out to fix it. We contacted this sears home store where we purchased the fridge, they confirmed that it has a 10yr compressor warranty and recommended that we file a claim with sears . Submitted claim to sears for the warranty and was denied because sears did not do the repair. We were never even asked for a model or serial number during the claim process, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM SEARS, THEY WILL NOT STAND BEHIND IT!! This store would do nothing to help us.
WOW!! Showed up to this place this morning, 5 mins after open, to BUY a $1000 wash machine and store associate came to door and said "No browsing" and shut the door on me. I found the one I wanted on their website but wanted to take a look in person for size measurement and to purchase. STORE IS OPEN according to their website, even states "We're open and ready to serve you"! After calling, Grant, didn't want to even take a phone order and argued his computers were down and denied allowing me into the store. Hope you see this Ali, and know your business is being quite mishandled in times when it should more than ever be careful and kind to your customers. Was treated like some perpetrator, this Grant obviously doesn't want to take care customers...AT ALL! Disgusted and shame on you.
I would give zero but this the lowest. Needed tools for a new job and a couple exchanges door was locked only 2 customers in at a time refused to allow entry without a useless mask. Even with a mask tou are not allowed to look around sign on the door says know what you want and go no browsing. Horrible business etiquette. Also the guy said he didn't have any ratchets to exchange do you are telling me you are a craftsman tool dealer and don't have a single ratchet on your shelf.
Crystal and Joe were very friendly and helpful. Crystal did a thorough job trying to help find the perfect refrigerator for me. I appreciate her efforts!
