The only game in town if you don't want to wait 6 weeks for an appliance in Sheridan, WY. Convenience always costs more. The sales person did his job. We got what we wanted.
Awful customer service since the original owners sold the business. Not willing to call Sears customer service to find our purchase to get parts. Sears online was courteous and wiling to help their customers. Will not shop here any longer. Do not waste your time in this store under new ownership.
Sears is not going to be here much longer, but the location still plans to sell appliances. New owners are an awesome group of folks.
If I could give them less than one star I would. My husband and I were looking for a washer and dryer in December. We found a pair that we wanted and when we told the sales person she instructed us that the pair we wanted would not be available until February. We needed our washer and dryer as soon as possible so we asked her which models were currently available in the warehouse. She told us which washer and dryers were available and although we had to pay more than we originally wanted to we decided it was worth it to have a washer and dryer in our new house as soon as we move in. We scheduled our delivery date and it was pushed back several times. Each time the salesperson was unable to explain why our delivery was being delayed. After several trips to the laundromat, our washer and dryer that we ordered in December FINALLY arrived in February...When I asked why our order was delayed I was instructed that it was missing the dryer cord. I purchased the cord in town furious why this was keeping our order from delivery for almost two months?! Upon delivery they had a cord for the dryer, now I have to return the one I purchased for no reason. This was the worst customer service I have ever received and everyone should avoid wasting their time and money here.
The pandemic has made getting nearly any appliance an utter frustration. However, the sales associates went above and beyond communicating the delays and kept me posted every step of the way. Unfortunately, when the appliance did arrive it failed to work properly, fueling my frustration. However, the associates and manager promptly jumped in to make it right and get another one on the way. While I was not happy with the initial appliance, their response and assistance won me over. They get it, its frustrating to get a bum appliance and have shipping delays, but any brand from any of the big box stores can have the same issues. The difference for me was in how they went the extra mile to make it right.
Ordered a pair of appliances from Sears' website and the Sears Hometown crew delivered it on time and with great care. Got a call from the local Sears about an hour after my order telling me when they would arrive and when they could schedule delivery. Art and Ray deserve recognition as they were friendly and efficient, even though they were slowed down by having to remove the doors from the new fridge to get it into the home! Love the new look of our kitchen. Thanks!
We bought some freezers from Sears for our business, and I'm so glad we did! There is no comparison to the customer service and warranties that our local Sears offers. We had a freezer go out and lost some product... Tiffany was so helpful and walked me through everything I needed to do! Plus, the extra warranty covered the repair/replacement of the freezer AND reimbursed us for the food loss. It was worth every penny. I would highly recommend doing business with Sears!
This is the best Sears Store! JR and his staff make certain to take good care of the customer. The go the extra mile in customer service. He carries a good selection of the popular real Original Craftsman tools. Not the cheap fake Craftsman/Stanley tools that Lowes and Ace carry that are smaller in size and not the correct chrome color.
Staff is excellent. Owner JR is awful. When trying to express a complaint he proceeded to blame me and the warehouse. Will talk over top of you and doesn't want to easily solve the issue. Hardly anything in stock have to order and wait almost a month. His staff had the second complaint handled and then he proceeded to call and undo the plan to fix the issue and was making the issue worse. Treats people as if they are ignorant. Why bother shopping local?
My husband and I received excellent attention and service at the Sears Hometown store in Sheridan, Wyoming, even though they were very close to closing time on a Sunday! We did not feel rushed at all and they took all the time that we needed and wanted to research refrigerators and stoves for our small apartment. Tiffany was especially helpful but so was the young man working there although I am afraid I did not catch his name. I highly recommend this store and would encourage anyone to visit.
