Have purchased at this store 30 years. Picked up tools right before Harvey hit and staff remained helpful and polite. Told me about a discount. Reminded me of the warranties I had on purchases. Have appliances from Sears that have lasted 25 years or more with no repairs. Good quality items. Use their Auto service shop after an accident. Good deal on tire replacement and mechanic went extra mile to let me know my vehicle motor was fine. He checked my axles. Even came out and talked to me about it. Did more than his job. They sell me what I need without all the lies or sales hype. They tell me the product and cons on products so I can make an informed decision.
The woman at the men’s checkout has no patience. She was nice to me in the beginning but when I couldn’t remember my phone number that’s linked to my account she became rude all of a sudden. I went to another register to file a complaint and there was this older female employee that just gave me bad looks. Seriously I feel like these employees need to grow up and quit being petty.
Terrible service. One checker for the entire men's and women's wear. The young girl at the only checkout register that was open was professional and courteous, but the store manager needs to hire personnel to service customers or close the store immediately! Opening the store at 11:00 a.m. is not a very convenient time for shopper's. Maybe Sears should send a team to Walmart to gather strategies for attracting customers.
Went to this store Monday 9.25.18. Need to return battery. Told they are going out of business. The auto department is not part of Sears. This even though my receipt and email has Sears all over it. I was told I have to drive to the next town to return battery. Real disappointment.
I went to the Baytown Sears store to buy a refrigerator. We were flooded during hurricane Harvey. Our home total loss. We lost every thing. I ask for a refrigerator I could afford after having to spend six months rebuilding my home out of my savings. I told her my price range and the first one she showed me was twice that amount. I told her I could not afford it as I was paying cash and not going in debt. The next one cost even more. Every thing she showed me cost more than the last. I ask about my husband's veterans discount. She said we don't do that. I said yes you do he buys tools there and gets discounts. She said that is a different department. I said no it is a different sales person. I will not buy anything from you and left the store. Drove across the street and bought one from Home Depot. I like shopping for big ticket items from Sears but will never buy anything from this person again. I hope everyone feels the same.
Its just sad. Waited 20 minutes in appliance after we picked out a stove we liked. I managed to find 2 different "sales associates" to help us with one basically question and to order the stove. They both walked over, said they could not help me then walked off. One very kind cashier KEPT paging and paging for us help in the department but no one came. I finally decided to find the manager and told her the situation. She did not apologize or help us. She just painted us off on another girl that could not answer the question if the griddle came with the stove or not. Everybody was too caught up in there own conversation and crappy attitude to care. Grooped up hanging out and on there phone. That includes the manager. Even if we pay more, we will be shoping else were.
Piss poor job of being a manager. Amanda the store manager came out handed me a 1800 number and said I can't help you, call this number. Gave no help whatso ever, she complained that she's a "person" and can not help, that the store can not return the delivery charge on an item purchased online when they are at fault for not being able to delivery on a the date requested.
I went into Sears this morning. And waited a good 25 minutes. And no manager came out to assist the cashier. And I need my washing machine. I left all my things on the counter. And left. Not very good service Baytown.
I normally shop here for things like a new outfit for the kids and such and my husband for tools. Today i went for a birthday present for my girls and wanted to get them some jewellery, i asked if i could get help in that area and i waited forever for someone to show, So, i decided to walk around the store to give them more time to send someone to that department, came back and still no one there. I dont know if it was because i was in a random t shirt and some shorts this specific store trip and maybe they felt like i was gonna waste their time not buying anything, but it feels over 100 degrees outside and im not dressing up to go buy birthday presents. If i wasn't planning to buy anything i wouldn't have asked for an associate's assistance.
Terrible customer service. Made several trips over the course of a week to warranty replace a tool. Was told each time that the delivery would be "X" day. After asking again it was admitted that they don't actually know they delivery date. Employees were rude and lied to customer. Store is under-stocked, dirty and disorganized.
