This is the second time I've had poor customer service from the appliance department. A few months back I was shopping for a dishwasher. Finally decided on one that was on display, and the salesman who was going to write up the sale then discovered that they may not carry that particular model anymore. After waiting around for awhile, we were told we would get a call back on Monday when they could find out if the dishwasher was still available. Days went by without receiving a call back, even after calling them and leaving messages. The following week we were informed the dishwasher was not available. We then choose to deal with another store to purchase a dishwasher. This time I was looking for a stove. Found a great deal at Sears and made the purchase. Was told it would be available to pick up the following Friday. Received a robo call a few days prior to the pick up date saying the order has been delayed and would be available on the following Tuesday. Meanwhile had my current stove for sale on Craigslist. Tuesday comes around, husband drove truck to work expecting to pick up stove after, received another robo call in the morning saying it's been delayed. Called the store to get some additional info, left a voice message. Still nobody has called me back. Thankful I haven't sold my current stove as I have no idea when I'm going to be receiving my new one. Won't be dealing with Sears for any further appliances.
This Sears store is a bit disorganized when it comes to the men's and women's clothings departments and in general many of the apartments here could use some facing. Items are often misplaced or at odd angles on the shelves. In general the selection can be OK and they do offer some good sales; however, you can often find a better selection our better prices elsewhere in town.
Wonderful experience in helping me choose and purchase a washer dryer combo. Couldn't be happier with my Kenmore product and support from the helpful Sears staff. Ask for Jimmy in applicances and you will receive great service.
VERY RUDE cashier Theresa and store manager Lisa. Cashier was texting on her cellphone when we came to check out. She asked for our phone number, we weren't sure which one it was under, so we asked her to just skip it - she started yelling that we didn't need to take an "attitude" with her! we were shocked at her confrontation - said we weren't taking an attitude. Then she went on a rant about how "just because she worked there didn't mean we didn't have to show her respect" - screaming at us in front of other customers. Another cashier came over and told "theresa" to take a break. As she walked past me, she intentionally bumped her shoulder into my arm making direct physical contact with me! Muttering how she was not going to be "treated that way!" We asked to see the store manager and as we were waiting for her, the second cashier explained that they needed a phone number in order to get the discount. We weren't aware of that policy and all someone had to do was tell us that. "Manager" Lisa comes over and says, "What?" We explain what just transpired, and all she did was stare me down and kept repeating "OK?" as if to say "so what". Not once did she apologize nor offer any expression of understanding. When I told her Theresa intentionally pushed into me, she said, "well, we'll have to see that on the tape." I said I hope there IS a tape. She seemed far more concerned when we mentioned the cashier had been on her cellphone, than she was about her screaming at us in a threatening manner or coming into physical contact with me. We have been customers of Sears and held their credit card for over 30 years - however, such behavior - first by a cashier, which may be forgivable with an apology, but then by Her MANAGER, which there is No Excuse for, is very disheartening. Both my husband and I have been in customer service for over 45 years, so we have an understanding about such situations. But we have never been treated like this in any store before. Obviously, we will no longer be doing business with nor spending another penny at the Duluth Sears store
Brought my vehicle in to get a tire swap. From winter tires to all weather tires. This usually takes an hour if they aren't busy. I left three hours later!! There was one car in when I got there which the tech stopped working on to start on mine since I was "waiting". Got there at 8:30 and finally left with my vehicle at 11:30!! They kept confusing my vehicle with a similar one and they had mine up and about to get an alignment, which I didn't ask for. They gave me an $8 discount for the inconvenience which was better then nothing but all said and done half of my day was used up sitting around for a simple tire swap.. also I'm not 100% sure my vehicle is ok!! The tech said it's pulling to one side and it wasn't when I brought it in!? He was gonna do the alignment. So did he think I had asked for one or was something messed up and he was gonna try fix it before I knew? I felt like something was amiss and it is unsettling. I won't be bringing my vehicle here again and we used to be a frequent customer.
Sadly this was the last day for me shopping at Sears......Between the lack of service and over priced Chinese parts. I left my items on the counter and walked out. I order my parts online from now on.....It's no mystery why Sears is failing . Reluctantly I had to give 1 star in order to post this.
Ben was excellent. He helped me match prices and save me money. He was a straight up honest guy. If you are shopping at Sears, ask for Ben he will take care of you
In stock = in stock at a warehouse in China. Not anywhere near their local stores. They say two day shipping. It's not. You get a vague email saying it's not in yet. Thanks for waiting. No saying when it will be in. Suggest buying either off the floor or anywhere else online....
Worst customer service been calling 36 min now been put on hold 3 times and hung up on each time then I got to listen to 2 employees tall what they gonna eat for lunch for 6 min now been calling back n get answer machine. Miller hill mall needs new employees
Stood at the jewlery counter for 10+ minutes wanting to get something while 3 employees stood at the registers talking to each other, they looked at me, then went back to talking. Horrible customer service
