Orient Township is a civil township of Osceola County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 803 at the 2000 census.CommunitiesThere are no incorporated municipalities in the township. There are a few unincorporated communities: Sears is a small farming community in the northwest part of the township, between US 10 and the railroad line, originally built the Flint and Pere Marquette Railway (later the Pere Marquette Railway. It has a medium-sized Amish community along with their stores and farms.
