I bought a refrigerator here a few weeks ago that was listed as brand new. It didn’t work after a few days & it turns out it is a refurbished refrigerator & repair costs are more than buying it new. So far I have been told that they are unable to pick up item & replace it & won’t refund either. This is the photo of the compressor showing it is not a new refrigerator.
Alex was such a pleasure to work with today. She actually helped us find a much better appliance than the one we originally said we would buy. That is appreciated so much because it felt like she cared. She also took her time explaining the process to us. Alex, thank you again so much for everything.
I ordered stuff online and received an email order is ready for pickup. But when I went there for pickup they said they just sold that in store. I was how come you can sell i already paid online. They said it's sold now we can refund your money. I just wasted my time to go there. They should send me an email before I go there items are out of stock and don't come. Completely inconvenient and they even did apologize they didn't care about customers.
Nightmare experience! Bait-and-switch on fees, no support or ownership when things went wrong, shakedown from delivery svc, and multiple conflicting stories/excuses from staff. I picked an appliance online, spoke with store rep who assisted with the item, I completed order online with delivery for the next day/Saturday. Received order confirmation and then silence. No call on day of expected delivery, and appliance never delivered. I call mid-afternoon Saturday and no one can find my order - not with the warehouse or with third party delivery svc. Then third party svc calls me asking for more money to deliver that day nearly double the initial fee!. I call back and I’m told only manager/Kristen can help me when she’s back on Monday. I call again Sunday - nothing they can do and try again on Monday when manger is in. I call Monday and same thing - manager/Kristen is not in as I was told, she will be in on Tuesday, and then third party svc calls again asking for more money to deliver. Call back store and speak with a manager Quantrell sp?, and he says there’s nothing they can do or will do. My suggestion to them was knock some off the price I paid yes, I’ve already paid! for the inconvenience of waiting the extra days for delivery and I’ll pay the extra for third party svc to deliver or I’ll cancel my order. The former seemed like a win-win - I was trying to work with them. Quantrell says there’s nothing he can do, the only person who can do anything is Kristen and she won’t be in until Wednesday. Wait what?!? I thought I was speaking with a manager and now she’s not coming in until Wednesday?!? They’re asking me to wait a total of four days past confirmed delivery date to get an answer of if they will honor what I paid or not??? They did absolutely nothing to correct the service nightmare they made, leaving me to make all the calls to them and the third party svc, and had the gall to ask ME to work it out with the third party service. I’m flabbergasted that this is how they run their business.
American Freight has a really nice selection of furniture, especially for the price. If you are looking for nice quality furniture and reasonably priced, this is the place to go.
Went in looking for a new table for the small dining room we have and the wife loved this one. Got some help and after talking to Denora one of the sales representatives I was able to walk out the door with this table for a little over 200$ which is half of what it was advertised as! They have great customer service and I will definitely shop here again soon!
I am so happy Ms. Christian was a Blessing. She was very helpful, attentive, thorough professional and courteous. She walked me through everything assisted me with every step. I will definitely be coming back and referring everyone that I know to American Freight because of her!
We shopped for a new washer and dryer at this store. We were assisted by Quinton who was very helpful. His knowledge of brands and how each brand performs was exceptional. He helped my husband and I to make an informed decision on which appliances to purchase while staying within our budget. If I could rate him a 10, I would. We felt he listened to our needs and we came home with a great value and great products. You Quinton are rated 10 Stars.
Some of the best customer service ever. We were able to walk the store undisturbed trying to find a big freezer. We couldn’t find the one we saw online so we asked for help - the gentlemen looked in the back for us and double checked the floor but unfortunately they didn’t have it. There was one very similar but was more expensive but one of the gentlemen gave us a price match for the one we came in after. They loaded the freezer into our truck for us.
DO NOT buy from this company, they are not reputable and have horrible service. I placed an order online and received an email saying they would call to schedule a delivery within 24 hours. 24hrs no call, so I decide to call them. They said they were "looking for the item" and will call me back never got a call back. I called them back the next day and they told me they sold the sofa set weeks ago and that I need to come in and pick another set that would cost more because their inventory system isn't working properly. I email the "regional manager" Javier Rodriguez and don't get a response. I then call support and they said they will email Javier and that Javier will call me the next day. Another day passes and no call or email from Javier. I call the store and they say Javier will be in at 1:30, then when I call it changes to 4:30, then finally he's out on a delivery and can't talk. Go to Bob's Furniture, Ashley's, pretty much anywhere besides this company. There's a reason why the furniture is cheap, because the company has terrible service and worse managment. Christian the store rep was helpful but everyone else was terrible. Update: Javier Regional Manager emailed me and said he will assist me in the order. It's been two weeks and no communication on his end. 0/5.
