Seasoning is a casual dining experience with chef inspired food, owned and operated by two classically trained and experienced chefs. Ever since we began talking about this venture, our goal was very clear. We want to provide quality food at a fair price, using the highest quality local ingredients. As trained chefs, we understand the importance of nutrition. The shortage in non chain food establishments forces people to rely on fast food that is greasy, full of preservatives, and lacks vital nutrients that are needed to stay fit. As a restaurant, our mission is to present health conscious food to the community and southern Illinois. It is important to us to provide proper portion sizes at a budget friendly price. Our goal as a business is to help promote local farmers, businesses, artists and the community as a whole.
"We are a small American Bistro that seats around 90. We have a downstairs dining room with restored brick walls and an upstairs dining room that is more modern. We serve modern takes on classic dishes from around the world and have rotating specials daily. Everything is fresh and meticulously selected by our Chef and Pastry Chef who also own the business. Our team is our pride and we are some of the best around! We love what we do and try to show that through all we do. We hope you will join us.
