I wont go anywhere else. THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I bought a great super-automatic from SCG and had a problem with it, the tech person talked me through it, spending over an hour with me on the phone. They back their product with excellent warranty and are more than helpful with every question. I make all my purchases online as I don't live near a Seattle Coffee Gear Store and their website is easy to navigate and compare prices with.
they have everything you need machine wise. However the customer service is only one star or less. I brought $1000 worth espresso machine and grinder combo, and paid extra for 3 year warranty. When my grinder had problem, I was told that the warranty covers the espresso machine only, not the grinder. After two and half years my espresso machine leaks water, they told me I should contact Seattle store warranty team. Over the phone I was told that I should descale and see. When descaling did not help, they told me they can fix the machine if I ship it back. However if I don't descaling and cleaning it every 3 months for the past two years they probably will charge me repair fee! Where I live water is very soft and 3 months descaling is unnecessary this means have warranty or not, they could charge you for repair anyway! Plus, when they ship the machine back to you they also charge for shipping materials. From The repair order email: "Unless otherwise notified, we will prepare the machine for return shipping, using new packing material and a fee will apply." If I have future plans of buying espresso gear, I stay away from Seattle coffee gear.
I called the recommended store for my Saeco machine and was told I had to get in line and wait two days for a diagnosis. I forgot that I bought my machine through Seattle Coffee Gear. I took it in to them and they looked at it on the spot and had it fixed within 24 hours. I would still be waiting with the other shop and I would have had to drive to Vancouver. Save yourself the trip and the time. A day without espresso is a day that sucks.
Great videos explaining all the coffee machines , great customer service, I just purchased a refurbished machine and I love it, so much so I have placed a second order for coffee beans and cleaning supplies as I feel I can absolutely trust this company to stand behind its products and service. I fully recommend doing business with Seattle coffee gear and I will continue to do business and recommend them to all of my friends. Paul Southern
Have been buying from them for over 7 years....best in the business. Great information, great videos, great knowledgeable salespeople and superior products. We live with our coffeemakers very intensely and its great to have people who care so much and are so smart.
Seattle Coffee Gear's online website is a great tool! I've been ordering coffee through SCG for years. Great products, high quality, no sales tax, free shipping over $60, and speedy delivery! Love these guys!
We have purchased two machines from Seattle Coffee Gear and have loved the service we have received from Seattle Coffee Gear. Our most recent purchase of a Breville has been amazing. We went in thinking we wanted a super automatic but Gayle asked us a bunch of questions about what we were looking for and what were main goals in a new machine. She suggested we may want to check out the Breville. She showed us the machine and we fell in love. We have been so happy with the machine and look forward to many years of use from this machine.
So far so good. I picked up my machine with an EXTRA 1 year of warranty for the same price as the machine alone on amazon.. not to mention I could support an independent business. Very pleased so far. I'm already back for a second machine for a wedding gift.
My Seattle contract office had a Saeco ODEA GO machine to serve 75+ people daily. I knew with that work out and no breakdown that was the machine for me. I purchased a refurbished one and had to bring it in due to my lack of knowledge they broke down the machine on the spot and educated me on how the machine worked and it has been working for two years. I had two issues, called into support, received excellent help and tips and resolved both of my problems without the headache of bringing the machine in. I purchased a second one, and am just so pleased at the service and quality and very helpful folks over there. thank you
I have a Crossland CC1 I purchased from the great team at SCG. When it developed a sensor issue, they not only shipped it from Portland to Seattle for repair, there were no additional charges as I had purchased the warranty service. Not to mention they communicated to me ever step of the process and finished early! Additionally, their team is very knowledgeable and eager to share tips, tricks, and fresh brew. SCG had my business before they came into Portland, but now even more excited to have them local.
