Food 4 Thought Program: The Food 4 Thought program provides supplemental groceries to over 3,500 children at 40 sites throughout San Joaquin & Stanislaus Counties. Students who participate in eight hours of an academically based after school program receive a 15-18 pound bag of food, twice a month. These bags contain nutritional staples for growing kids, such as breads, cereals, and fresh produce. This program strives to feed the body and minds of the children in our communities.
Senior Brown Bag Program: The Senior Brown Bag Program provides supplemental groceries to over 2,900 senior citizens at 24 sites in San Joaquin County. Many Seniors are living on a fixed income, finding it difficult to adjust to increasing cost of living and are struggling to make ends meet. The seniors in this program receive a 15-18 pound bag of food, twice a month. These bags contain nutritional essentials and a generous portion of fresh produce. This program strives to keep our seniors healthy and happy.
