I recommend this place early in the morning if you want to buy something good at this place ask for a chicken pesto sandwich with a side salad it's almost $10 dollars also try their chai tea it's $5 dollars if you want to surround yourself with productive people this is the place, you can enjoy a good cup of coffee with a a bagel or a hot or chocolate I bring my mom here because everything is healthy and you feel great after eating fresh food I hope you get to enjoy the this palace as much as I did , The World is Yours
Great taste at an affordable price, had a lovely breakfast and coffee while traveling. Definitely glad we found it.
I had the breakfast burrito. It was delicious! Fresh ingredients! The coffe was so good. Service was a little slow but the girl was by herself and worked really hard to get orders out. only reason I gave it a 4. Would definitely go again
I have never left a review before. It blows my mind how anyone could give this place a halfway decent review. Terrible service, terrible food, dirty restaurant. Bad atmosphere too, empty when it should be busy, dead quiet with no music. Very tense and awkward. Exceptionally slow service. Only 4 customers in line took OVER 20 minutes, and they still confused and messed up orders. Don’t go here. It took OVER HALF AN HOUR to get 4 açaí bowls, with literally no one or any other orders being made before us. The people in front of us ended up leaving without getting their food it was such bad service. Food was bland and overpriced. I’m shaking my head at how terrible.
The service here is terrible. Every time I go, there is somebody complaining about yesterday's disaster, which nobody is ever able to fix which results in a continuous stream of outrageous scenes while waiting in line. The food is okay, nothing special, if you can successfully order what you want, but that is a rare occurrence. The cashier always overcharges me and then is unable to correct the difference or acknowledge the error. The last time I went the total was 4.25 and when I offered her a $5, and then within 15 seconds a quarter, which baffled the cashier, who put it in the drawer and gave me .75 cents back. Then she said she couldn't give me the difference because she had closed the drawer already. There is a language barrier between the management and the cashiers, so all the employees are constantly barking at each other/talking trash about each other in their own languages. It's a mess. Getting an espresso coffee drink here sucks for all these reasons, and because an espresso coffee order requires a minimum attention to detail which they do not possess. Get a house coffee that's already brewed, if you're going to get a coffee. Then, you'll note that it's probably the only coffee shop you'll go to that has [unrefrigerated] flavored Coffeemate creamers and no milk/half and half much of the time. The fact that downtown Watsonville does not have a Starbucks/Peets or a decent cafe with espresso drinks does not mean this place deserves your business. I'm all for local businesses, but not incompetent local businesses that peddle themselves as some sort of asset to the community. A Starbucks within walking distance of the court would shutter this place in a week.
The girl I see here in the mornings tall with long straight hair is SUCH a sweet heart. Wifi works, just takes a while to pop up. Food is great and the ambience is artsy and well kept. If you want to help make officer Batin's quota park in the 20 minute parking on 2nd street great place to get some homework done and eat good food. I do wish they had more vegan options for sandwiches, that's my only criticism. Overall really enjoy this place. Quiet and cozy without being cramped.
It's been a while since I've been here. I was taken aback by how the cleanliness has gone downhill as well as the service. Two girls really doing all the work, but on dirty counters. While the other is just really talking. One staff person cut a lemon after wiping the blade of a knife with her apron on a a dirty counter. Dust on the display teapots and the ceiling over the fan makes me wonder how much dust get into drinks and on food. The cashier's attention span was short as she kept talking to co-workers and kept asking me to repeat my order. I ordered a panini and mocha chai. The panini was decent and chai was very very sweet... I guess I hit this place at a bad time. I'm willing to come back again and hopefully have a better experience. Because I know how good this place can be.
This was by far the worst tuna sandwich I have ever had. $7 for a squished, sour, tuna sandwich, with a weak excuse of a slice of cheddar and a watered down iced coffee. Edit: On a second trip I got an iced mocha and Acaí bowl. They were good and the service was way better.
My last review was spoken a little early. I've gotten to know the girls here pretty well. And the service and food is getting to be above my standards. The girls here will make you anything you ask for however u want it. Good work ladies!!
Awesome little spot. They have options from premade yogurts and juices, to breakfast bites and burritos, to sandwhiches and coffee drinks. Good options, amazing prices and the food is good. Location is quirky, but worth the navigation. Will definitly be going back.
