PREPARE FOR YOUR CAREER IN SECURITY
This course will provide you with the skills training for immediate employment in the private security field as a California registered security guard. Students are required to successfully pass a BSIS written examination for State application for a Guard Card and Baton, and a BSIS written examination and range qualification for a Firearm application.
What is the cost?
The COURSE FEE is ONLY $100. Required State Registration Fees, Fingerprinting, American Red Cross Certification, and Firearm rental and ammunition purchase are separate and an additional cost.

Q: How long are my Guard Card, Baton, Chemical Agents and Firearm Permit valid?
A: Guard Card and Firearm Permit are valid for 2 years from the date of issuance. Baton and Chemical Agents permits have no expiration.
Q: Do I need a high school diploma or GED to take this class?
A: No. Although you must be able to read, write and comprehend basic English grammar.
