In a way, I am sad for leaving as I have always enjoyed talking with and seeing Melissa, the manager. I had some heavy boxes and she let me use her cart to carry them down the hallways on two occasions. I couldn't have done it without her help. I was in the air conditioned Bldq. Q and the temperature was always nice and cool. It was upper 90s outside and probably 74F inside. I have always been impressed with the manner in which the property has been maintained...immaculate and clean. Melissa is a true professional and I am sure that upper management with SSS recognizes what a great manager they have in her.
Facility is clean, well organized and has excellent resolution on their video surveillance. I was helped by Melissa, the manager, both times I needed assistance. She was pleasant, personable and remembered me from our first conversation when I saw her the second time. At the time of renting my unit there was a 1st month free promotion that Melissa made sure I received. When my personal circumstances changed abruptly I needed to close out my unit before my 2nd month started. Melissa was beyond helpful in the process - even instructing me to call her if I needed an extension on vacating the unit at no additional charge. I can't recommend this business enough!
Melissa was so friendly and helpful. I had filled in an online application and she had everything ready when I arrived. The price of the unit was much less then any other places I looked at. Melissa made sure I was comfortable with entering the codes and getting into my unit. I was impressed with how clean everything was.
Few things top the stress of a move, but the team at Security Self-Storage was the easiest part of the adventure! Beyond the convenience and accessibility of the units themselves, Melissa's customer service is the stuff of legends. Highly recommend the team for your storage needs.
Today was a great stepping out of the heat into the cool comforting smile of Melissa who assisted me with my inquiries. She is definitely in the right place during this heatwave. Although I didn't reserve a climate controlled storage unit, I did appreciate the climate controlled exchange.
I just wanted to share my experience with everyone. As soonest I walked in they made me feel so welcome. Melissa was there to assist me in every step of the way. They have the best prices in town. If you need a storage unit do not hesitate to give them a call. I am pretty sure they can work something out for you like they did with me...
I called to find out pricing and talked to Jill and she was very sweet and informative! I was in the process of trying to decide between another storage facility and this one Security Self Storage and decided to go with this one because of how friendly Jill was! Then I came in and met Melissa also and she was equally as nice and helpful! Thanks y'all! Excited to be a part of the family! :
My husband and I have had a unit with Security Self Storage at Plano for over 15 years and have met and worked with each of the managers. Though there were many good ones, we rate Melissa as one of the best in offering a high level of professionalism. She diligently takes care of matters, and isn't afraid to handle difficult situations. She is skilled at problem-solving and always handles the issues with a professional pleasantness and "can do" attitude. She is highly responsible and can always be reached on her office days. We were thinking about moving our units, but have decided to stay because of Melissa. Though she has appropriate boundaries, she will go "beyond the call of duty" if she feels it is appropriate and necessary for customer service. She is genuine in her sense of responsibility and service to the customer. Security Storage is very fortunate to have her as an employee!
My husband and I are pleased about the first class customer service provided by Melissa. She has been most helpful and kind. Melissa knows how to talk to people and leave customers with a positive impression of the company which she represents-Security Self-Storage. I will recommend this facility to others because of Melissa. The property is also clean, well lit and is in a convenient location.
Melissa’s customer service and interpersonal skills are unmatched. She is kind, enthusiastic, and eager to make your experience as easy as possible. I initially misjudged the unit size that I needed, but Melissa was able to immediately sort out the issue and provide me with a perfect unit. With total confidence I can say that I will be using Security Self-Storage for any storage needs that I have in North Dallas.
