When we ask – “Have you been SEEN?” – it can mean quite a few things to quite a few people. We were tired. We were tired of the nonsense and all the run around of why patients kept coming back complaining that they just wanted to see. Sounds like such a simple request:

So why was it so hard? We started looking at the warehouse clubs. These fine establishments are great when you need 6 gallons of mustard or a pack of 480 shop towels. Firstly, many of the frames are close out frames that are from 4 seasons ago that didn’t sell so well in typical optical shops so the manufacturer dumps them on the warehouse for a fraction of the cost if they buy 25,000 of them. This allows for you to appreciate the eyewear in the most natural of settings rather than a dark dingy office or under fluorescent lights (this avoids that blue frame you picked last year being green when you got home!). Next, we outfitted the space with clean new cabinetry and shelving to show off the frames appropriately. And mirrors! Tons of them! All over the place! You want to see what these new frames look like from every angle! We always realized that the most important factor in getting you to see clearer is trusting the prescription.
