My husband and I stopped in before a show, and we tried the beef noodle soup and seafood tempura. Service was excellent. Shumai was good start. The tempura was ok, but seafood could have been fresher. Nice restaurant and very modern feel.
Best Asian cuisine on the North Shore! I come here all the time because I know I can always expect a quality meal loaded with flavor and good size portions for a reasonable price. They have plenty of seating and a beautiful granite top bar that’s always packed with people. If you like sushi they are very well known for having the most amazing sushi around. I have friends that drive from Wakefield just for their sushi. The entire staff are so friendly and very welcoming! They are open 6 days a week closed on Tuesday I highly recommend!
My tuna burger was surprisingly good, even though it isn’t technically a burger because it comes on a bed of rice instead of in a bun. The menu makes it sound like you are getting sides of seaweed salad and scallops; however, you are actually getting a micro serving of salad and one scallop – Lol. All of the sushi we got was also very good. No complaints about the hot and sour soup. My daughter was not a fan of the Boba. Our waitress was very friendly; however, you could tell when she was coming back from a smoke break because she smelled like the Marboro man. I will definitely go back.
Sushi was good and not that expensive, fish were fresh. Spring roll is full of vegi, not my dish but not bad. The fried chicken was great with the sauce, and the big fried chicken could serve two. If I come alone, I might order the agenomon chicken again. The waitress gave each of us a bowl of miso which was very nice~
lunch special was a great deal. We got the salmon avocado maki and the Tesla special roll maki, and it was around 25 per person. Fish was amazing, although I wish they had more raw salmon options and toro.Recommended dishesMiso Soup, Sushi Tray
The bartender was awesome lol we get a shot- she would take a shot with us and refill a little. Very nice staff
Shrimp spring roll is good, recommended. Chicken Agemono is fine, a little bit plain to me. Dragon Maki and Crazy Maki are pretty good, will order again. The miso soup is also good.
Very attentive, food excellent and were there since the one closer wouldn't allow my 9 year old to sit at table with us! Glad, because this place was above par...esp the sushi pizza! Vegetarian options: Several Dietary restrictions: Yes
Decent for a weeknight dinner or takeout, solid three stars. The food is consistently on the better side of mediocre. It's a pretty good bang for your buck -- prices are cheap. I recommend the pork agemono one of the dishes pictured here. The sushi is decent, a little underflavored. Pictured here also is the house salad, which I don't recommend. The service is often poor -- even if you get a good waiter or waitress, the service is usually slow because the place is perpetually understaffed. Ambience varies. Expect anything from packed and noisy to quiet and dimly lit.
Excellent food - the house fried rice is a meal in itself and worth the trip alone. Everything is fresh and exceed expectations. There is a full service bar here along with plenty of seating. Parking: Street parking out front and free parking next to the convenience store next door.
