I went through a terrifying experience with a scintillating scotoma and was hospitalized to check for stroke and such before the Internist figured out what was wrong with me. I had to go get my eyes checked and got in the very next morning early. I ended up needing a new prescription and glasses. My review is mainly about Michelle in the vision center. She is so amazing. She greets every person and lets them know she is aware of what they need, gets people in and out in a timely manner, explains every option and helps people find the best option for them, she's patient...even when her printer is not working correctly....fix the printer issue for her please. Michelle is a gem and her customer service is exemplary. She was working alone and handled it like the professional she is. Thank you Michelle. It was a hard couple of days for me and you were so sweet and helpful. I look forward to seeing you when I pick up my new glasses!!!
I've downgraded my rating since coming here in December for a complete eye exam. The eye exam went well and I have no complaints about that. However, I need to have an eye exam to renew my license. When I called the office, I was told I'd have to have another exam as per their office policy - even though I had just been there 5-1/2 months ago. I understand that they may charge a processing fee to complete and submit paperwork to the MVA but, to make me come in for an entirely new exam is foolish and a waste of my time and money. I consider this to be a form of upselling. I will not be back.
Since the practice was sold, there is poor customer service to obtain an appointment. No one is answering the phone. There is no call back as promised. And there was discussion about a patient portal, however, there was not an introduction to it. The practice did have good customer service in the past until it was sold to a large conglomerate.
Saw Dr. Jones there and was Really impressed by her thorough exam and caring manner. As a health care professional myself, I am so grateful for her calm professionalism during an emergency exam. Wow, highly recommend!
My experience with Dr. Protzko and his associates has been fantastic for years. He just performed cataract surgery on one eye yesterday with the next surgery to be done next week. I am already experiencing great success and; therefore, except great success again next week. I highly recommend the practice as everyone takes their responsibility very seriously and makes certain that the patient is fully informed about all options and procedures! It is truly a caring practice!
Called yesterday to reschedule my appointment 2 weeks out. They got me an appointment today! I arrived 20 min early, signed in and was called back 5 min later. My complete, thorough and professional annual eye exam was finished in under 30 minutes, including dilation! Great staff and great doctors here. Highly recommended for your eye care needs!
The staff is always professional, friendly and helpful upfront. In the back, the Drs., Assistants and Tech are always patient, informative and empathetic. Customer service is such an important aspect of a business because the public has many choices of facilities. Highly recommend Seidenberg and Protzko for all of your eye care needs!
The Havre de Grace office is clean and staff is friendly and professional. They were great with my daughter both times we were there age 8 months, then again at 14 months. Only complaint is the wait time despite making an appointment. We love the doctor and the option to go to multiple locations.

Everyone at this location at the front desk was very nice, knowledgeable and helpful so good to see that back in an office it makes our visit pleasurable. Thank you for being professional!! I recently had two cataract procedures done at Seidenberg Protzko Associates by Dr. Candice Giordano and was extremely pleased with the results. Dr. Giordano is an outstanding doctor and her staff was very professional and kind. Would highly recommend this company for anyone needing eye care.
