Stopped here on our way to Buena Vista. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't to my taste. My dining companion ordered a combo plate with a pork tamale and a beef chimichanga. I ordered an enchilada suisa. My dining companion said his chimichanga was good. Filling. Definitely wasn't the best tamale he's ever eaten. My enchiladas had something can't quite place it that I didn't care for at all. But, I ate them. We sat on a little table outside. Overall, an edible meal, but I wouldn't choose to eat here again myself.
Cute place. It was super expensive. We waited over 30 minutes to take out 2 burritos with one table in the restaurant. My breakfast burrito had no flavor, and the potatoes tasted raw. Even the salsa was bland. The rude woman at the counter didn't ask if I'd like a drink while waiting or an update on how long the food might take. Look at their replies to other reviews, and you'll see the attitude to expect. At least I know I'm right because the customer is always right. Right?
Some of the best authentic Mexican food I’ve had in a restaurant. The guacamole and salsa were both perfect. Both mine and my husband’s entrées were 10/10. Everything tasted so fresh and each element homemade.Food: 5/5
Alright here we go... so when you think of Woodland Park there's no way that you'd think there'd be authentic Mexican food here, i was quite skeptical.. to be clear, I'm a Latina from So Cal and it's extremely HARD to find authentic Mexican cuisine here in Colorado Springs or any mountain area. With that said, the ONLY reason why I'm not giving these guys a 5 stars is because I honestly thought the prices were a little too high for the plates.. BUTTTT the atmosphere is great, they have Mexican artwork, decor and pictures up. They got a little cute bar setup and tv set up. The staff was friendly and I expected to find Caucasian teens working here nothing wrong with tha but we WERE in Woodlad Park but you got a Hispanic staff here, the lady in the front was lovely and friendly. If I were to come back here it would be once in a blue moon because of the prices but it's definitely a spot to check out if you crave Mexican. The tacos de asada were great, arroz Rojo and beans tasted homemade and the bean and cheese chimichanga hit the spot!
By far the best Mexican restaurant I have been to in a decade. Chips, salsa and cheese dip were amazing! Why can’t I get cheese dip like this everywhere?. I tried the enchilada sampler - truly amazing!
Took a friend for a birthday bite to eat and was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was. The creamy habanero sauce was the ultimate mouthwatering garnish on my fresh Baja tacos. Mmmmmm. ¡Gracias Serrano's! Vegetarian options: They serve salads Parking: Because it's located in a shopping plaza, parking is available in about any way you want it. Kid-friendliness: They have a generous kids menu. Wheelchair accessibility: Located in a shopping plaza, wheelchair accessibility is available.
Waited too long for our food to come out, way more than 40 mins, my husband got a quesadilla, I think it was beef and I got the tilapia Puebla. Food is not good and I think it’s too expensive, you can see the picture attached it’s worth $20 and my husband’s and same price. Total for 1 sitting is $50 without any drinks I finished my food because I was so hungry I don’t even want to think what is the taste anymore cause I know it will take longer if I order another dish specially we waited already for so long my husband don’t like his food but he just eat it because same reason he is hungry… but it’s gross sloppy quesadilla we just thought it was really slow service even there is only 2 tables including ours. Long food wait for no reason and NOT good food at all expensive We don’t recommend this restaurant We are not coming back again.
My Wife, Granddaughter and I all had very tasty meals here. We started with fresh Guacamole and chips. For dinner, my Wife enjoyed a beef Tamale. Our Granddaughter enjoyed a cheese casadilla. I enjoyed the Enchilada Sampler. All the food was good, and the service was fast and friendly. I strongly recommend this Mexican Restaurant.Food: 5/5
Most often you find the restaurants that offer the best food to be the smaller lesser known restaurants in a given town. Serrano's may be a cult classic for those from the area but nestled away in Safeway Plaza in Woodland Park, CO it far too often goes unnoticed. Serrano's a small family owned restaurant provides exceptional flavor and originality in their menu. I've been enjoying their menu for the past couple years now. While all of their menu options are great. The one I alway's come back to is their Carnitas Uruapan. The pork is marinated and cooked to perfection, and the home made guacamole, and salsa is incredible. Thank you again for another great meal and pleasurable experience. Can't wait to stop in to try another item on the menu... but it may be hard to not order my go to. It's so good.
Wonderful food! Chimichangas were exceptional as previous reviews stated! Salsa was fantastic! Entree prices were decent but got pinged on our margs.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: Yes
