Seton Hall University Black Alumni are committed to preserve the legacy and carry Black enrollment and achievement forward.
The Seton Hall Black Alumni Committee is a collective group of members. They are sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, mothers, and fathers who were once students at Seton Hall University (SHU). Through our strong tie to SHU, we act as a family, serving as mentors and resources for past, present and future SHU students. Our mission is to stay connected to the University community and keep our story and legacy alive by providing inspirational and aspirational experiences to those near and far.
What is The Black Experience?
The past few years have demanded our race to think about where we have been and where we are going. Seton Hall University – one of the first places we flourished as a community, fought as a community, grew as a community -- was the starting point to our adulthood and existence in the ‘real world.’ This year’s Black Alumni Weekend will bring our community back together again, focused on remembering the times, then and now, on the grounds where it all first started.
The Seton Hall University Black Alumni Committee's mission is to provide inspirational experiences to those near and far.
