I decided to try SEV Laser because it was a well known chain, so I figured it couldn't be that bad. I was wrong. Because of their "popularity", this spa is focused more on quantity versus quality. But I will say, the ladies there were nice and friendly. I got a Brazilian and armpit laser for my first session. The nurse was not very thorough and missed a lot of hairs. I know because for a Brazilian you should get everything "inside" front and back if you know what I mean. All she did was use a popsicle stick to laser once on one side in my front. She didn't have me spread my cheeks for the behind so I know she didn't get all the hairs there either. My friend said she already saw a slow down in growth after her first session at a different salon, but my hair is already growing fiercely 2 days later. I wonder if they purposely don't use a stronger setting so you have to come for more sessions... Lastly, like I said, quantity of clients is more important than quality of services provided here. There was no coffee or drink table in the waiting room. No printed after care cards were given following the appointment. No touch up of missed hairs were offered during service. Honestly, I wouldn't be coming back here if I hadn't already paid for my package.
I had a lovely and very helpful technician, but my front desk customer service was not so great. I had trouble with my booking and was then told there would be a cancellation fee as we had to change part of my treatment on the day of service. This was unfair, as I was not able to be advised on my treatments until I had spoken to the nurse, nor was I able to clarify this when I was booking my appointment over the phone with the customer service agent. I was also asked to confirm my appointment at least 4 times before I attended on the day as well as answer the same questions every time. A little bit overkill and off putting from booking again.
First time doing laser and I can say that it was not painful like waxing. However If it’s your first time I suggest going in during the middle of the day I made the mistake of making my appointment late not knowing they close at 7 and it felt rushed. After making my appointment and realizing the time I couldn’t reschedule due to the 50% of the service would have to be paid. I wish I had time to talk to the nurse about the process but on my second round I’ll be asking questions and comparing.
My first ever laser treatment went by smoothly at SEV and I am more than satisfied with how I was attended!! The ladies there were incredibly friendly and helpful to any questions/concerns I had!! Already booked my next appointment and I am now 110% more relaxed that I am in good hands :
Today I had my first session the nurse was nice. I forgot her name but I don't believe she covered all the areas and I had to tell her to go over some areas in my underarms so I don't think for what she did not covering all the areas will see any good results!
I always have a great experience for each of my sessions. The staff is very knowledgeable and always make me feel very comfortable. Everyone is welcoming when you get there and I have never had any issues post treatment. There place is always very cute and clean:Services: Leg hair removal
The staff is very friendly and professional. I have nothing but good comments about them. The laser hair removal treatment on the other hand: very expensive like very very and I would say 30% effective. I purchased about 12-15 sessions I'm not sure anymore for several areas. It worked pretty good on the lower leg, that's why I give it the 30% effective. The rest of the areas, it is almost the same as when I started the treatment, and let me remind you 12-15 sessions; well over $2k worth of treatment.Service: Laser hair removal
