Could not be more happy with this place. We have been using their services ever since we started out Reef Tank. The maintenance they provide is spectacular. The knowledge that they bring to the hobby is amazing. They are always available to tell you if something would work or not be the best fit for the setup you are running. They have definitely saved us from disaster on more then one occasion. Would recommend them to a beginner all the way up to a marine biologist. Thank you so much Seven Seas.
Best aquarium shop in the area. I've gone to 3 different ones in a 25 mile spread. And it's the best. Ive known the owner for a few years as a customer of mine and this was my first time going in. The store is clean aquariums are well kept, fish are happy and very well priced. This store meets professional with friendly neighborhood shop. And does it very well.
Absolutely the best on the north shore. I’ve shopped every saltwater fish store in northern Illinois and can not find a place with better selection and reasonable prices. I even drive past a store in Buffalo Grove, which is right behind my house to come here. I’ve been in this hobby for years and really appreciate a business that treats the hobbyist so well. This was my first time going to Seven Seas Aquatic and I was very happy with the experience. I started talking to Ben as I will be doing a saltwater tank soon and he answered everyone of my questions and helped me out so much to better understand everything. I met Fabio as well and he was a great help as well with all of his knowledge, I was truly blown away. They mentioned they would help me out anyway possible and did not pressure me at all. Great selection of fish, corals and anything else you would need. I will definitely be going to them for all of my saltwater tank needs. Go check this place out even just to stop by and look at the fish. Thanks again to Fabio, Ben and Marvin.
Great shop, very nice employees. Fish are healthy and happy. Great selection of Corals too. Worth visiting if your in the reefing hobby.
First of hopefully many visits! Came all the way from Milwaukee Wisconsin my self on our WRS bus trip down to a few of the less than local aquatics stores. This was our final stop but an absolute don't miss! Their hospitality was amazing! They're corals were top notch! Their prices were GREAT!!! I got a colony and a nice mini colony and felt like I was getting an amazing deal. Absolutely will be visiting them again! Great staff and service too!!!! Thank you again guys! AKA: Coralfuture
Let start by saying they are very friendly here, they appear to know some of the facts about what they are selling but not 100 percent. Prices are good better then some other places and no so good , just depends on what you are looking for. Nice size store. Do your research of what you want before you buy,, know the good and bad..
This might be the best reef store around in terms of friendliness, livestock, and knowledge. My go-to shop now. Such nice, patient staff, and a ton of knowledge. Prices are probably the best around. Really great.
All I can say is wow. This place was awesome. The owner and staff are bar none the nicest people I have met in this industry in a long time. Awesome pricing, awesome coral, awesome fish, and awesome people. Good job guys you made a customer for life.
